it had been about a week since you started staying at sanzu's house. every time you even mentioned leaving he would start talking about something else or pull you into a kiss as you were mid-sentence.

you finally put your foot down and told him that you needed to do your schoolwork. thankfully, your classes were online so he took you by your apartment to get your laptop and a bunch of other things.

even though you complained and would bicker with him sometimes, you really liked staying with him overall.

you were currently packing a suitcase for your and sanzu's "trip". he wouldn't stop talking about it and how he knew you guys were going to have a great time.

you hesitated at first since you hadn't even known sanzu for a full month yet. the thought of traveling to a foreign country with him made you excited, yet nervous.

you finally agreed though, telling him that you would go as long as you would be back in time for your college graduation, which was in 2 months.  he said that the trip should only last about a month and told you start packing.

you were currently throwing all of the stuff you had brought over from your apartment into a suitcase that sanzu bought. he insisted that you guys had matching ones and bought two louis vuitton suitcases that cost more than your rent.

you mentally cursed yourself for putting off packing to the last minute, since you guys were leaving for the airport tomorrow.

"come lay with me." sanzu called from the bed.

"can't. i'm packing." you replied as you began checking for the second time to make sure you hadn't forgotten anything.

"just do it later."

"what do you mean later!? we leave tomorrow."

"oh yeah! i'm excited. we're gonna have so much fun ♡"

"aren't you going for work?" you questioned as you closed the suitcase and began zipping it.

"yeah but all work no play isn't how i do things."

"true. you're pretty much all play." you laughed, standing up and walking over to the bed. you got on it and sat next to him.

he had a lazy grin on his face as his hand reached out to touch your waist. he touched you gently at first before using both hands to grab your waist and throw you on your back.

he got on top of you and started attacking you with kisses. he was kissing your face and body rapidly, causing you to laugh.

it started to tickle so you grabbed his face with both of your hands, causing him to stop.

he looked down at you, a small smile on his face as he leaned in and planted a soft kiss on your lips.

he pulled away and you felt your heart beating really fast, which was strange but you ignored it.

the next morning the two of you got up pretty early to go to the airport. you put on a pair of sweats and a hoodie to be comfortable on the flight.

the two of you took an uber to the airport.

"are you sure this is the right place? this airport looks small." you turned toward sanzu as the uber came to a stop in front of a building.

"yup. it's owned by bonten."

the both of you stepped out of the car and walked to the trunk, pulling your bags out.

the building you walked into was a warehouse full of crates.

"what's in all these boxes?" you questioned.

sanzu walked over to one, pulling the lid up and waving you over. you peeked inside and saw it was full of bags of white powder. he closed it and then opened a box next to it, revealing guns.

your eyes widened.

sometime you forgot who sanzu was. he was a part of the most infamous know gang in japan and was on japan's top wanted list.

sanzu closed the box and looked down at his phone.

"let's go. they're waiting for us on the plane" he grabbed your hand and led you out of the warehouse.

the plane was bigger than you were expecting. when you stepped inside, you were surprised by how nice it was.

you hadn't been in a plane before but you knew from movies and tv shows that they didn't normally look like this.

three men were already sitting toward the back. you recognized them as ran, rindou, and kakucho.

you followed sanzu to the back of the plane and took a seat next to him. The chairs were all facing each other. You noticed that on the side there was a button for rotating the seat or reclining it.

The flight would be about 13 hours so you hoped this would make it easier for you to sleep.

sanzu sat down next to you after handing your luggage off to a flight attendant.

"why do you look so depressed ran?" sanzu asked as he leaned back in his chair and reached over to grab your hand.

"my girlfriend broke up with me today." he grabbed a glass of alcohol that was on the table in front of him and downed it in one go.

your eyes widened and you couldn't help you curiosity from getting the better of you.

"why'd maia break up with you?"

"we'd been fighting a lot these past couple of weeks because she thinks i don't trust her. when i told her i was going to the US for a month she got mad and then when she found out that you were going too she broke up with me."

his brother rindou poured him another glass and this time he sipped it slowly as he stared off into space, deep in thought.

sanzu raised your hand up to his mouth and kissed it.

" i trust you with my life."

you smiled and reached your other hand to cup his cheek.

"i already know that haru." you smiled.
