A/N: I won't do an a/n for every chapter but I just wanted to say if there's not a t/w where you think there should be, please don't hesitate to tell me! I know they can be annoying but lots of warnings are better than somebody possibly being triggered.

Leah's POV

I sigh as I stare up at my ceiling which is still covered in glow-in-the-dark stars from when I was little.

I want to tell someone. I need to tell someone. But every time I think about it, I just imagine my family shouting at me, telling me how stupid I am and asking me all these questions that I don't have the answers to.

Although I know Josh wouldn't do that, he'd just stand there and look at me in disappointment- and in some ways that's even worse.

I wouldn't be able to live with seeing the pain I'd have caused them, I would feel so guilty- I already do.

I'm interrupted from my trail of thought when I hear my parents downstairs. I get up from my bed, knowing that if I don't, they will have a go at me for being 'unsociable'.

"Hey dad" I say as I make my way downstairs.

"Hey sugar, how's your day been?" My dad looks up at me with tired eyes whilst putting down his briefcase.

"Alright I suppose, what have you been doing?"

"Oh nothing too interesting" He smiles. We say the same thing everyday- it's kind of become a routine.

"Hi dad" My brother says, emerging from the living room, phone in hand.

"Hello son, how are you? Your mother tells me you weren't feeling too good."

I see a flash of panic on Josh's face but it is quickly replaced with his all too laid back expression.

He shrugs

"Im alright. Came home, took a tablet and then had a nap. It seemed to have done the trick." My dad nods before patting him on the shoulder.

"Good, you can help make dinner then." Josh groans before heading back into the living room, his face already staring at his phone screen.

Im not sure whether I should go back to my room or stay down here, so I awkwardly hover on the stairs.

"So what have you been doing today?" My dad asks me

Not much just cutting myself

I silently gasp, shocked at myself for thinking that. What would've happened if I had said that out loud?

"Ive just been reading all day" I smile sheepishly at him. My dad rolls his eyes.

"What are we going to do with you two? One with his head constantly stuck in his phone and the other reading all day" He says it like it's serious although he's smiling throughout.

"Oh yeah, how's that dictionary Leah? It seemed really interesting, can I read it after you?" Josh calls from the living room, I can almost hear the smirk on his face.

"Shut up Josh" I reply. My dad looks at me with a confused expression. I shake my head whilst smiling. "Don't ask."

Josh's POV

We are all sat at the table, eating our dinner in silence. My mum is the first to speak.

"Leah could you pull your sleeves up please? They're going in your dinner"

I see Leah freeze as she tries to think of an excuse. She shakes her head.

"Well can you change into a different one then? Look its going everywhere"
