Hobie's POV
I must of played for another 2 hours before I realized he had fallen asleep. I let the last note of the song fade into silence before seeing my guitar aside. I check my phone at it was 2am. Suddenly I realized.

"Wait, when does the school lock up?"

.
.
I stare blankly at my phone as it goes black, so I tap it once more.
'2:28''
I blinked to myself after seeing the time again. Shit, it's really 2am.

I look over to Pav, his entire weight leaning against me. His eyes are a bit puffy and lips slightly parted while he slept. I stare at him for a long moment, it was bitter sweet to see him relaxed after crying for so long. I soak in scene just a bit longer before gently nudging him with my arm. "Hey, Pavitr." I called and he groaned and stirred lightly. "Pav, wake up." I nudge him again.

This time he groggily lifts himself from my arm, his tried eyes refusing to open as he stretched. "Mm?"

" 's the wee hours of the nigh', mate." I spoke quickly and hopped up off the bleachers. Moving to the double doors at the exit and pushing against them. I then hear frantic shuffling, I'm assuming Pav was looking for his phone to check the time.

I sigh and lean against the door, it wasn't budging. "Shit.." we both mumbled at the same time as he quickly moved off the bleachers and made his way to me. "Oh my aunt is gonna kill me." He groaned and took his turn to try to push against the door.

" 's locked, darlin'" I sighed and slid my hand across my locs before trailing off, he went silent but I could hear his hesitant steps follow behind me.

"What should we do now..?" He sounded and I march my way up to my guitar and slung over my back. "Les' walk around? M' sure there a way out" I say with a shrug and he nodded, moving by my side as we made our way out the gym.

We scanned the halls once out the room, it was dim, many of the lights on each hall refusing to turn off. I then suddenly feel a tap on my chest.
"Race ya!" He chimed and sprinted off, it left me stumped for a moment but I quickly recovered and darted after him. " 'pposed to give a bit ova' warning' yeah?" I yelled though a laugh and he glanced back with a beaming smile.

It was nice to see it again, by why was he smiling? We're trapped in the school and he's-

Oh I see, he's trying brighten the situation. Must be a habit at this point.

I shake my head lightly but i quicken my pace to catch up, though surprisingly, I couldn't. "Ya' faster than I thought!" I called and he only laughed.

Instead of looking for a way out, we end up racing through the halls, playing in the classrooms that was still unlocked, attempting to make a book fort, and any other activities that came into his head.

I honestly really enjoyed it, no wonder he always has a ground of friends around him. Though, I might of spent more time than I meant to just staring at him.

We leaned against the bookshelf after Pav insisted we put the books back after making the fort. I let the room fall silent for a bit before he suddenly jolts from his phone ringing. "Uh oh." He says to himself and answers the phone, standing to walk away from me a bit. "A-auntie! I-... yeah, yes I know... I meant to come home right away but I got-"
"Tell her ya' stayin at a friends!" I whisper yell to him, he seemed to ponder my words with uncertainty for a second before speaking. "I-... I wanted to stay at a friends. Im sorry I should have told you! It slipped my mind!" He said quickly.
