"The song talks about dealing with haters and feeling appreciated by those who really love and appreciate you. The artists acknowledge the importance of taking care of the people he loves, while also living it up, showing off his wealth, and living life to the fullest."
The original lyrics have been written slightly different (the curse words)
Justin's P.O.V.
The stage lights blazed, casting me in a halo of electric blue and gold. The crowd roared, a sea of faces and energy that fueled me. Tour has been amazing so far. All of Nsb has been on some adrenaline high every night because of it. Being on stage, singing, drinking and interacting with fans has brought out some of the best moments of our lives.
This entire experience was a lot to put together and I honestly don't know how we would've been fairing out without each other. Sure, we fight and argue but NSB is my family and I wouldn't want to be doing anything else.
I found family in NSB, I found love, I found what I needed. And so far, this tour has just proved it all. So when the random hater in the crowd yells out to me, I yell back.
"YOU DON'T BELONG HERE!!" The guy yells.
"AND YOU THINK YOU DO??" I yell back.
I turn to the DJ, asking him to play a certain song. I look at the group. At Oliver specifically. He knows how bad things can be, and he's supported me through the hate, telling me things like "Don't let them get in your head." And tonight, those words echo in my head. He nods his head and smiles, confirming that I should go for it.
Recently, I've been recieving a lot of hate from 'fans', specifically the boyfriends of fans. I've been recieving hate about how I don't belong or how I will never make it. So when the adrenaline kicks in with the bass of the speaker, I sing as loud as my lungs will let me, making sure every hater knew their place.
I'm on that good kush and alcohol (Mike WiLL Made-It)
I got some down bitches I can call (what's happenin')
I don't know what I would do without y'all
I'ma ball 'til the day I fall (ball, ball, ball, ball)Yeah, long as my bitches love me
The rest of the group chimes in.
(Yeah, yeah)
(Yeah, yeah)
I continue singing to the crowd, their cheers carrying me even higher.
I can give a fuck 'bout no hater long as my bitches love me (yeah, yeah)
(Yeah, yeah)
(Yeah, yeah)
Yeah, I can give a fuck 'bout no [fuckers] long as these bitches love me
Uh, pussy ass [bitches] stop hating
Lil Tunechi got that fire
And these hoes love me like Satan, man
Yeah, fuck with me and get bodied
I stepped forward, my eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on the guy. Without missing a beat, I raise my middle finger high, a bold, unapologetic gesture that sent the crowd into a frenzy. The guys are to either side of me, dancing to the song. Oliver has his arm around my shoulder while Ryan is singing as backup for me on my other side. Regie puts both middle fingers up in the air while Darren and Kane sing together. Sebastian is grinning while holding his mic in my direction with Ty doing the same right next to him.
"So tell me you're that somebody"
Girl, I fuck who I want and fuck who I don't
Got that A1 credit and that fillet mignon
The crowd goes wild, sticking up their hands and singing along with me. People have their phones out recording or they sing to each other. The flashlights of phones bounce back at me to the beat of the song.
She say my dick feel like morphine
I hope my name taste like sardines to these [bitches]
I can see the guy who was yelling at me try to pull, who I assume is his girlfriend, away from the crowd. She pulls away, yelling the lyrics at him. That only makes me feel more energized.
And these haters try to knock me
But they can't knock me off the hinges, man (Tunechi!)
Taking in the atmosphere, I know that this is one of the best days of my life. I might as well be on top of the world right now.
Pose for your class picture
Now kiss my ass if you hatin'
I'm getting ass or I'm skating, yeah
The song continues on and once it's over, the crowd is screaming and applauding. I only stand there with the widest smile on my face. The boys sing me praises.
"That was insaneee." Ryan hits my arm in a playful way. He lifts the mic to his mouth, "Anything else you want to say J? Before we end the show?"
"To that one guy, I'd just like to let you know," I take a breath, "I don't give a fuck what you think, bitch."
The crowd erupted once again and before I know it, we are back on the tour bus, the adrenaline from the concert still coursed through my veins. Everything has settled down for the night, we all took a shower and ate before heading to our bunks. I lay in my bunk, staring at the ceiling, replaying the moment I had flipped off the hater and basically owned the stage. The crowd's cheers still echoed in my mind.
I see the curtain to my bunk move slightly before Oliver pokes his head in.
"Got anymore room in here, superstar?"
"Yeah, I do." I move over slightly, propping myself up on my side as Oliver climbs in, laying on his side to face me.
"You were amazing out there."
"You think so?" I can't help the wide grin on my face.
"I know so. I don't think I've ever seen someone stand up for themselves in such a big way." He reaches out, moving the hair away from my face. "Safe to say I've never been more proud."
"I thought I was being stupid at first, to be honest. I didn't know how everyone would react." I lay on my back once again, looking at the ceiling.
"Everyone enjoyed it. I mean, did you see the way everyone cheered for you?" Oliver asks.
I can only nod. "Besides, you owned it." Oliver continued. "You showed who you are and you didn't let the haters get what they wanted. You were very authentic."
"I couldn't have done it without you, you know?" I admitted. "You've been there for me through all of this, even when I didn't know how to handle it."
Oliver smiled, his fingers brushing against mine in a quiet, comforting gesture. "That's what I'm here for," he said simply. "You don't have to face this alone."
Oliver shifted slightly, pulling me closer. The closeness felt natural, unspoken words drifting between us. My eyelids grew heavy, the adrenaline finally starting to wear off.
"Thanks, Oli," I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.
My head resting lightly on Oliver's shoulder. Oliver didn't reply with words but tightened his embrace, his presence steady and unwavering.
Eventually, sleep claimed came, the chaos of the tour fading away as we drifted off in each other's arms.
