a/n !! : I thought it would be fun to do
a little side story about all of the other characters to give our mcs a rest + I also thought it would've been cute to show the other characters' relationships (maybe for future stories to link to this one 😉)

JEN AND JAY
at the airport

"Yo hurry up" Jay said, waving his hand over to Jen who was struggling behind him as he sped through the airport

"Bro why are we going so fast I swear we still have to wait 6 hours for our flight" Jen groaned as she walked next to him, he then started to pull her suitcase for her because he realised that she was tired.

"Yeah but remember the amount of people at Starbucks last time? I'm not gonna wait two hours for a coffee again" he said and Jen agreed with his point

AFTER THEIR FLIGHT

"Mom!!" Jen said as she saw her mom waiting for her at the airport

"Jennifer! I'm so happy to see you again, who is this? Your boyfriend?" Jen's mom asked

"Jay? Boyfriend? Nah he's just the other transfer student from America, remember I told you about him" Jen explained, laughing at the thought of her and Park Jongseong dating

"Nice to meet you, Mrs Huh" Jay politely said and she smiled at him back

"Jayy!!" A voice called out to him, they then saw a woman in all designer clothing walking up to him and hugging him

"Ah, Mom I missed you" he said, hugging her back

YOON'S POV :
At the Choi's residence

I got bored of watching the children's Christmas channels while supervising my cousins, so I got out my phone and looked for a certain contact who I knew would reply instantly to me

Ringing "Mr bungeoppang" . . .

What is this boy doing not answering on the THIRD RING?

"Hello?" A high-pitched voice answered the phone

"Uh.. hello? Is ni-ki there?" I asked in Japanese

"Oh! Yeah, Ni-kiiii??" The voice shouted through the phone

His voice then answered the call of his name from in the background

"Your girlfriend is calling you!" The kid said, with a cheeky smile

"Girlfri- DO YOU MEAN YOON?" He shouted and quickly snatched the phone off the kid

"Oh- hi sorry, my little cousin was playing a game on my phone," he said

"Oh it's fine she seems cute, I thought you were staying in Korea for Christmas?" I asked him
