✨|Chapter 6|✨

I went to the office and took my seat then the  very first thing I did is taking coffee from the coffee machine in the cafeteria as coffee is my favourite especially cappuccino. After taking coffee, I have some chit chat with my colleagues and then I went to my desk to start my works for today like call, activity, meetings etc. Which I have planned for today.

Time flies like this

At 5:30 pm

Suddenly we got a mail that there is a dinner party that has been arranged tomorrow on the occasion of patterning with Roy Chowdhury Group of Industries. The moment, I heard Roy Chowdhury Group of Industries, it reminds me of Akash and immediately I decided that I will not attend this party because he is the one who ruined my life and now he is celebrating his Victory and inviting us. How mean a person can be, who celebrate his own Victory after ruining someone else life? I will not attend this party at any cost not only party, I don't want to see his face.

I directly went to my manager's room to seek approval for not attending this party.

May I come in sir? I asked him while touching the door of his chamber.

Yes come in. Mr Roy said

I went inside the room.

Oh Trisha, sit. Mr Roy said

I took my seat infront of him

Yes how can I help you? Mr Roy asked

Sir actually I am unable to attend this party because I have a lot of work pressure and especially my home is far away from the office and it takes maximum 2-3 hours time to reach home. I said

Mr Roy is my manager and I have been working under him since 5-6 years you can say from the day, I joined this organization.

Mr Roy sighted

But Trisha this party is very urgent as this party is in behalf of patterning with Roy Chowdhury Group of Industries and also our new team head will be announced and its mandatory for all the employees to be present there except urgent issues.  Mr Roy said

So in this situation, I can't grant you the permission to not attend the party. Mr Roy said

I am listening to what he is saying.

You can reschedule your work for tomorrow if it is not urgent and you can ask someone to drop you home. Is it ok for you? Mr Roy said

I understood that its not possible for me to convince Mr Roy now. No matter how I try to convince him, he will always tell the same thing and I won't lie to him telling it's urgent because I hate lying. I started cursing my fate that why these things only happens with me which I try to avoid. Not only now, It is happening with me throughout my life. The thing which I want to avoid always came back to me.

Destiny is not in my side today although Destiny was never in my side before.

Are you ok? Mr Roy asked

I came back to reality and said

Yes its ok for me.

So now the problem is solved. Mr Roy said

I nodded and smiled.

Another update.........
So Trisha didn't get approval from her manager for not attending the party.
