Next morning, I wake up as usual and went for a morning walk as today is Saturday so it's a weekend. After I came back from a morning walk, I went to my room to get fresh.
Finally after doing my morning business, I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I have prepared Puri( luchi) and sada alur torkari (white potato curry) for all of them. In the meantime baba( dad) also came for breakfast.
You prepared breakfast today? He asked me
Yes baba I. I said
He sighed
You know Trisha, after your maa died, I got married so that you can get your mother's love and see what happens. Baba said
Seems like it would be better, if I don't get married atleast you should not see such a day. Baba said
Baba you don't think too much. I don't have any grievances against her but yes I will not live like her puppet that whatever she will say, I have to listen. I said
Baba nodded.
I served the breakfast to him and we both ate our breakfast then went to do their respective work.
In the evening.
I was scrolling my phone checking my as well as my friends insta account and after sometime I started reading some books from Wattpad which was incomplete.
Knock! Knock!
I opened the door its maa.
I understand that she definitely want something otherwise she usually don't come to me without any needs.
I have something to tell you. She said
Yes you can. I said while folding my hand infront of my chest.
I have already found a groom for you for your marriage and he is very rich. He has agreed to marry you just by seeing your face in a photo and they want the marriage to be done by next week. So next week you will get married. She said
But. I was about to say something she intruppted.
No and or but. You have to listen what I say afterall it's my house now. She said
What? I again asked her as I was shocked because it was dad's house.
Yes. Its my house. She said
Your dad has written this house on my name. She said
And now who will stay in this house and who will not, That I will decide,by the way, I don't want to keep a burden like you here. You have to find your own ways. She said and left from here.
