We all went inside, and the boys sat together for about an hour before they all went home.

I stayed with Andrew since the police were still investigating my house, and I wasn't allowed to be alone for a while.

"You're sleeping upstairs in my room. I'll be in the guest room if you need me."

I looked at him as he started walking away.

"But, it's your room. You should -"

"Just go, Vivian. You're sleeping in my room."

I paused before nodding, and he went to the guest room as I made my way upstairs.

After a few hours of restlessly tossing and turning, I went downstairs for a glass of water.

As I entered the kitchen, I saw Andrew standing in front of the counter, eating strawberries.

I cleared my throat, and he turned around.

"What are you doing up?"

I looked at him and raised a brow.

"I could ask the same thing."

He squinted his eyes.

"No, you can't."

I frowned and walked over to the fridge to grab a bottle of water.

"And why not?"

He answered, taking another strawberry into his mouth.

"Because it's my house."

I rolled my eyes.

"Alright, smart ass. It's not your house. It's your parent's house. You're just always here by your-"

He grabbed my arm and pulled me up to his face.

"Watch your mouth, Vivian."

I looked at him as he stared at me angrily, a slight look of hurt behind his eyes.

"Sorry... I didn't mean to."

His face softened a bit, and he let go of me.

"Whatever. Why are you still awake?"

I grabbed a bottle of water and sat up on the counter.

"Just couldn't sleep. I guess I'm just uneasy from this whole situation."

"Mm, understandable."

He grabbed the case of strawberries and brought them over to the counter I was sitting on.

"Want one?"

He handed me a strawberry, and I took a bite of it.

"Why are you up?"

He froze for a second before looking away from me.

"No reason. I'm just not tired."

"Hm. Is that so?"

He looked at me and cocked his brow at me.

"What? You got another idea of why I'm not asleep?"

I shrugged, giving him a smug smile.

"You can't sleep by yourself."

He stared at me with a strawberry stuffed in his cheek and srunched his face.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

I looked over, grabbing another strawberry before responding.

"You've never been able to sleep alone. It's been that way since we were kids."
