Somewhat helplessly, Soobin stood in a large boutique, letting his gaze wander selectively over the various outfits and garments. The store was elegantly furnished, with fancy clothing racks displaying the latest fashion trends. Bright lighting and mirrored walls gave the room a certain elegance. Music in the background created a pleasant atmosphere as customers looked around and grabbed matching garments.

But actually, Soobin didn't know what to buy.

He knew for whom, but not what was suitable.

For Choi Soobin, picking out girls' clothes for a boy was a completely new challenge. It was strange and whimsical, although he secretly had to admit that it had made him aware of Beomgyu in the first place. He had actually liked it, but he would never say that out loud. Soobin paused thoughtfully in front of a display case and looked at a very eye-catching, almost kitschy ring in the shape of a yellow flower.

He wondered if it was supposed to represent a daisy. Somehow he thought it was cute, and it matched the squeaky yellow T-shirt he saw in the row next to it. So Beomgyu might like it.

After all, that one had appeared in rather frilly rich clothes at their meetings. So it would be something new, but since the feminine boy had already been staying with him for three weeks and had few clothes, he wanted to bring him something to show his caring.

"Choi Soobin?" a female voice suddenly snapped him out of his thoughts. Surprised, he flinched and turned to the speaker.

It was Sorn. Yeonjun's ex-girlfriend.

Soobin felt his muscles tense as he prepared to meet her and withstand possible awkward conversation. He knew the young woman, but still had never been a big fan of her. For this reason, the corners of his mouth twitched nervously as he struggled to smile. "Sorn! What a surprise to see you."

"Likewise," the blonde said with a rather mild smile, "what brings you here?"

Her gaze slid to the ring Soobin had been looking at, frowning questioningly. Curiosity was written all over her face. You could tell right off the bat that Sorn was reserved, but also interested in seeing Soobin again after so long.
