I woke up by a streak of sunlight hitting my eyes. I got up and dressed myself for today.

I put on some freshly washed clothes and walked out of my room. While walking, I tied my hair up in a low ponytail. I walked over to the kitchen and found Minho, Ben, and Hank sitting at a table. There was nobody else in the kitchen except Frypan.

"Morning Fry. What's for breakfast?" I asked as I walked over to Frypan.

"Just chicken sandwitches." He smiled. He handed me a plate and then went on with doing whatever he always does.

I walked over to the boys and sat down next to Hank, facing Minho and Ben. "Morning."

"Morning," Minho said with his mouth stuffed to the brim.

"Morning," Hank said.

"Mornin." Ben also said, giving a small smile. I smiled back.

"Today you're training with a notepad. Yesterday, you just got to feel how it was to run for that long, so today you will get to experience how it is to take notes, cut ivy and stuff." Minho informed me more on what we would be doing today.

After some time, Newt and Gally also sat with us. As weird as it sounds, I felt Newt glancing over at me every once in a while. I looked over at Minho, who was holding back a huge grin.

I gave him the 'What is it?' Look, and he glanced over at Newt and then switched back to me. I knew what he meant and just rolled my eyes, turning back to my food.

In no time, it was time to run again. We stood in front of the north doors as we waited for them to open.

I heard uneven footsteps behind me, and as weird as it sounded, I knew it was Newt. I turned around, and as I expected, it was Newt. I gave him a small smile and turned back to face tho doors again.

After some time, I felt the ground shake. That was the sign that the doors would open. After no time, the doors started to slowly move away from each other. I took a deep breath  and watched as the walls were now fully open.

I looked back one time to face Newt.

"Be safe?"

"Always." I smiled. I turned back to see Minho rolling his eyes.

"Let's go." Minho yelled as the other runners ran into the maze. Minho went quickly after them, and I followed.

After a few turns, it was only me and Minho again. Minho whipped out a knife and handed it to me, signaling I had to cut the ivy today, so I did.

I walked closer to the walls and let the knife scrape against the concrete of the wall. After two seconds, I pulled away again and gave the knife back to Minho. He gave a small nod and went on with running.

It felt nice to get away from the glade again. Nice and free.

I tried to remember the turns we took so I could remember the way back.

Every once in a while, I took out my knife to cut some ivy. Every time I did, Minho gave me a small nod.

After no time, we stopped for lunch. I sat down with a sigh, opening my small backback to take out a sandwich and a water bottle.

I took small bites from my food as I heard some voices in the back of my head.

Why haven't you punished yourself het, Anne?

The voice was back. I closed my eyes, trying to push away the voice.

There is a knife in the back of your pocket, Anne. Just one cut. Nobody will notice.
