𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲

It's the day after I found out I was pregnant I've decided to tell my parents and Isabelle that I'm pregnant today just to get it out the way it's better then putting it off I have a feeling that they are not gonna be happy but I need to get it over with so I can make an appointment at the doctors without my parents getting suspicious so I'm sat In my room after messaging my parents and Isabelle telling them that I need to talk to them so now I'm waiting for them to come home

I'm sat in the living room picking at my nails I have the two pregnancy tests in my back pocket of my jeans that is until the door opens and my parents and Isabelle walks in the front door they take their shoes off 

"What is it you want to talk to us about Layla" my mom says walking over to the opposite couch that I'm sat on my dad sits next to her and Isabelle sits next to me I take a deep breath before I start explaining

"Okay please don't be mad but I didn't mean for this to happen" I say nervously

"Spit it out Layla we haven't got all day" my dad huffs I grab the tests out my pocket and say "I'm pregnant"

"This is a joke right" my mom says angrily
"No I'm sorry it's not I didn't mean for it to happen and you've always taught me to deal with the consequences for the actions I chose to do so I'm keeping the baby" I say putting the tests back in my pocket
My dad runs his hands down his face and sighs angrily
"Layla if you want to live in this house you have to abort the baby" my dad says that brings tears to my eyes
"You want me to kill my own child your grandchild I'm not doing that I'm keeping my baby and the is nothing you can do about it" I say as I start crying

"Okay that's it get your shoes and get out Layla" my mom says
"Mom please" I say upset
"No get out your a disgrace to this family don't come running back to us when it all gets hard and you can't cope Layla" my dad says
I look at them and then at Isabelle who's just sat there
"Just to let you know you won't ever meet your grandchild and I wouldn't ever come running back to you" I say putting on my Nike trainers and grabbing my jumper bag and phone i look back at my parents with tear stained cheeks
"Get out Layla!" My dad shout's walking towards me I walk backwards and he slams the door in my face which makes me cry even harder considering it's raining which never happens in South Carolina it's just my luck

It seems like I've been walking for ages when I'm reality I've only been walking for an hour and that's to get to novas house I walk up the driveway I knock on the door I hear novas family dog bark the door opens I look up to see Annie novas mom open the door she takes one look at me and i must look a mess right now I'm soaked from the rain my cheeks are covered in tear stains she takes me into her arms and I just cry even more if that was even possible I mean for a 16 year old. Girl I didn't think it was possibly to cry as much as I have today

What happened hunny Annie says once she lets me in and gets me some clean clothes and let's me use the shower I had a hot shower and I've got some of novas lounge bottoms and top Annie put the fire on and made me a hot chocolate because nova and her dad are out at target

"I'm pregnant I found out yesterday nova was with me when I found out and I told my parents and Isabelle my parents wasn't happy they told me to abort my baby and I said no so they kicked me out but I got pregnant from a one night stand when my parents told me that they wanted me to date their friends son" I say looking towards Annie

"Oh hunny your always welcome here for as long as you need" she says hugging me
"Thank you Annie I will get a job to find somewhere to live and then I'll pay you back I promise" I say

"Layla please don't worry about that you have your baby to worry about, do you have an appointment booked" I shake my head no
"Okay well first thing tomorrow we will book an appointment to find out how baby is
I know your young but I know for a fact that you'll be an amazing mom" she says kissing my head "right now have you had any dinner" she asks
"No" I say
"Okay well I'm cooking lasagna would you like some because you need to eat for yourself and your baby' I nod my head just as the door opens
Nova walks in "jeez out there is like a shower" she says as her dad walks in behind her "It is" Craig her dad agrees with her
"Nova is it okay if I gave Layla some of your clothes because here's were soaked cause she walked here" Annie says
Nova and Craig then look over to me I wave at them as nova comes and hugs me not long after Craig hugs me too
"What happened Layls" I tell nova what happened with my parents then I tell Craig what happened from yesterday once I've finished explaining Annie's done cooking we all sit and eat I help annie wash the dishes then I ask where I'm sleeping as it's 9:30 and they might wanna head to bed soon they say the guest rooms free i say goodnight to everyone then I head upstairs

I get to the guest room and walk in the bathroom and brush my teeth then I lay in bed with my hand on my stomach "we're on our own now bean" I say to my unborn baby and fall asleep talking to my tiny not visible bump
