Journal Entry 1
So, I'm not too sure what exactly I'm supposed to write about in this thing. Yennefer got this journal for me to practice my writing skills in hopes I would improve my spelling. It's been about two weeks since we left Kaer Morhen, home. It's going well, I suppose. After a very tearful goodbye between Geralt and Jaskier, we started our move to.... I don't know where, exactly.
Anytime trouble brews, Geralt has us move, which is smart, I guess. As long as whoever is after us is on our ass, they probably won't send more unless Geralt and I kill them.
Oh, I should probably explain that Geralt is my father, Yennefer is my.... it's complicated. I have a daughter, my sweet Farah who has taken to traveling like a fish to water. She loved being on a horse, looking around at vast open fields and the multitude of forests with wonder in her eyes. But I think she likes the waters more than anything else. We took a small break near a pond and she delighted in the water, splashing around while Ciri held her up.
Oh, and Ciri is my... also a little complicated.
I guess I will start writing in this more often. It's oddly calming to write my thoughts on paper. I'll see what comes to me next, dear journal.

It's been a month since leaving Kaer Morhen and my training only seems like it's started. Geralt has been pushing me more and more during our training. He no longer holds back punches, which is both painful but strangely enough, makes me happy he thinks I can handle getting hit. Geralt and Yennefer haven't spoken in a while. I see pages torn out of you as well as my inkwell being used more. Yennefer, in place of speaking to father, has decided writing letters to him is much more preferable.
I do see them argue sometimes when they think I'm not looking. They hush up whenever I get near, so it's most likely about me. Yennefer has been giving me odd looks whenever Geralt comes near me.
We are now camping near a waterfall and a stream that leads down to the ocean. It's salmon season, so father and I have been bringing pounds and pounds of fish for the group to dive into and eventually get sick of within a week.
Farah update, she is now crawling, which is both adorable, since she always crawls with a huge smile on her face, and terrifying, since she loves the water and always tries to throw herself into it. I'll write what happens next, dear journal.
Journal Entry 17
I now know why Geralt and Yennefer were arguing about me. It happened last night, last night being the reason why there is no sixteenth journal entry. Yennefer and Geralt were arguing about whether or not I was ready to go out on my first hunt, alone. Yennefer argued that I was too young and not ready, which I'm not going to lie, hurt me to hear, until Ciri told me she was just being protective.
Geralt argued that he was even younger when he went on his first hunt, not to mention I had no trouble with the basilisks back at Kaer Morhen.
I finally spoke up and said that I was ready, which was a mistake considering the night I had. It was certainly A Night to Remember.
