Riley's mom made her stay home for being awake all weekend.

Riley: So what's going on now?

Colin: I'm in Music Appreciation. Why do you care so much?

Riley: I'm sick of being home.

Colin: you've only been home a half day. Read, paint, watch some movies. Your mom is forcing you to veg. It's not the end of the world.

Riley: it might as well be. I might be a loner but I like being a loner around people.

Colin: Ok I guess I understand that. But don't you need sleep?

Riley: No. I fell asleep between our first convo and now.

Cole: for how long? And on a scale of 1-5 how deeply?

Me: three hours. About a 2?....

I have an aversion to sleep. I'm used to that. What I'm not used to is being so bored out of my mind.

Colin: what is so different from the other times you have been forced to say at home?

Riley: you're there.

Colin: oh. Then, I'm sorry I can't come by.

Riley: no. don't worry. I'm just complaining. I'm actually happy not to have to listen to Ava and Monica.

Colin: I think that would be the biggest benefit to staying home.

Riley: definitely.

Question: what movie should I watch?

Colin: I would say P&P: 1995 but it's not that type of movie.

Riley: not what type of movie?

Colin: the type that you give your undivided attention to. Well, if you know every line.

Riley: which I do. It's more of a work movie, I guess. But I don't own it anyway.

Colin: you don't own Pride and Prejudice 1995.

Riley: no. and why the full name?

Colin: Because this is a serious matter. Do you have any of the Jane Austen adaptations?

Riley: yeah. All the Mansfields. Two Persuasions. 2009 and Kate Beckinsale's Emma. 1995 S&S. Kandukondain Kandukondain. And Northanger Abbey 2007.

Colin: wow. That's a lot of adaptations. Why isn't P&P one of them?

Riley: I don't think of it. Since it isn't my favorite story anyway I've been alright watching it online.

Colin: that works too. You should watch Kandukondain Kandukondain as that requires full attention.

Riley: Good choice. Love everything about this movie.

Colin: It has everything. Acting, dancing, and singing. Best of all it's in a different language. Well not the dancing of course.

Riley: Of course.

I'm watching Meenakshi meet Srikanth when I hear the front door.

I walk downstairs and my sisters go into the kitchen. I can do this.

"Hey." I say, walking to the fridge. "What are you doing here?"

"Dad asked us to check on you since mom is working late." Pen says.
