She told me that she knew what had happened to me and sent her condolences. I nodded, understanding a bit of what she said. I knew a bit of English, but not too much. I knew to say my name and to start small talk, but other than that, I could only say, "I don't understand; I'm sorry, my native language is Filipino." Miss Peregrine tried to make sense of her big words and even asked me to pronounce some of them. My English greatly improved from listening, repeating, and making sense of the big words she spoke.

Once we came along, she paid for both of us, and she said that she had to get to her loop and transform into a bird and fly away. At first, I didn't believe what she had told me, but after she bought me a ride to go to the country in Wales, England, I totally believed her. I had just turned 16 at the time, and the ride took a couple months, so I took the time to kind of sink it in. Miss Peregrine would visit me sometimes, maybe for 1-2 days at a time, because she would've aged forward and died if she stayed for a bit longer. She talked to me about her wards and what their "peculiarities" are. It took me a while, but I got to Wales.

Once I was there, Miss Peregrine led me to Cairnholm and looked around before taking me through the rock cave thing. I looked around, and it looked way different than the Philippines. At this moment, it was a lot for me to take in, but Miss Peregrine assured me that it was nothing to worry about and that as soon as we got to their home, I would take a shower and take a nap. I made it to the house, and even from afar, it looked beautiful. A lot of the kids waved at me or started to ask me questions, but Miss Peregrine shooed them off. When I went inside, I never thought a house could be even bigger on the inside. I looked around in awe, thinking only a church could be this big. Miss Peregrine smiled at my awe and told me to take a bath, but I had to ask her first how to shower. Back home, we'd shower in the river near our field. Then I changed my clothes, and I went to sleep almost immediately when I stepped foot into that bedroom.

A/N I'm sorry that it's sort but it's 4:00 am and I already did a lot of work and a bit of research on the other chapters and this one.
