Chapter 05

Kakainis.

My hair is already a mess staring at my cellphone, because I was looking at Jace's timeline. 2 weeks na ang nakalipas bakit hanggang ngayon ganun pa din ang status namin sa Facebook.

"Ang pangit mo na."Tyra is teasing me kaya tinarayan ko sya."Kanina pa masama ang timpla mo. Anong kape ba ininom mo?"

"I don't drink coffee."

"Milktea?"

"Shut up. I don't want noisy, and please you can talk to me later."

She just shook his head and left me and went to the group of sunri who were gossiping.

"Malapit na ang valentine's day. Sino kaya ang panlaban ng senior high sa grade 11?" I heard from their group. kila tyra?

Napataas naman ng kilay ko at lumingon sa kanila. I pretended not to be interested in what they were saying but I was listening at nakatingin sa cellphone ko.

"Baka si Jace naman?"

Napa atras ang leeg ko dahil sa narinig at napakunot ang noo. It means that he used to participate in school pageants.

Bakit hindi ko na sya napansin noon?

I'm irritated because it's time for breaktime now.Their conversation did not continue. But I also smiled because I realized that I would see him in the cafeteria. Sana nga?

"Ang saya saya naman ng tanda ko."

I just raised an eyebrow at sunri's statement. Kinuha ko na agad ang wallet ko sa bag ko at yung cellphone.

Tyra still put her arms around me so I let her go, we went up the stairs together.

"I hope it's a vacation rather than Valentine's."

We heard the response of the woman behind us, the three of us stared at each other because of what we heard.

"Wala ka kasing ka date. Ako may balak na ako gawin para sa valentine's. Pupunta ako booth ng mga senior high para makita ko si Jace."

My eyes immediately lit up when I heard it. Nanliliit akong titigan ng dalawa, ang dami nya naman admirer?

I noticed that Tyra smirked so I let it go because she might just tease me more. Subrang lawak ng ngiti ko ng makasabay ko ang mga kaklase ni Jace pagbaba naming ng building.

Swerte ko naman.

"Hi!." Kaway ko sa babaeng lalagpasan sana kami, ngumiti sya sakin at ang mga kasama. Feeling ko nga nailang sila but they still smile so they are so kind."Kilala nyo po si Jace?"

"H-huh!Feuvos ba?"The woman answered confused. The faces of his companions became serious.

"Yes po."

"Oo naman. President ng senior high council yun. Kaklase namin bakit?"

"Hehe. Crush ko po-." Naputol ang sasabihin ko dahil binatokan ako ni tyra kaya napaatras ang ulo at tumalsik ako ng kaunti.

"Wala naman hehe. May sasabihin lang po kami Pinapa-abot ni ma'am Cathy." Alinlangan sagot ni tyra.

"A-ah haha. Nasa canteen na ata yun, nasa likod lang namin kanina." Tumingin pa sya sa likod nila pero ibang istudyante ang nakikita namin.

I fixed my hair and went back to my place earlier. I can see on his face that his friends are worried about me because they are looking at me. I just smile because I don't want to look awkward.

"Sige po mga ate. Salamat po."

Ngumiti nalang sila at naglakad."a-arayy!"

Nairap ako dahil hinila ni Tyra at sunri ang laylayan ng dalawang braso ko."Nakakahiya ka. That shouldn't be said."
