Chapter 07

"Kuya"

"Why?"

"Milktea"

Nakanguso ako ng sabihin iyon sa harap ni kuya na nakatutuk sa harap ng computer nya. Hating gabi na pero gusto ko parin uminom ng milktea, I crave it earlier hanggang ngayon hindi ko na matiis kaya pumunta ako sa kwarto ni kuya.

"It's already the middle of the night. Take my cellphone and order." I smiled so wide because of that and took my brother's cellphone and sat on the end of the bed.

"Ikaw kuya ayaw mo?" I was about to check out but I thought maybe my brother would like it too.

"Order what you want there, don't bother me. I do a research paper."

"COD ba kuya?"

He seemed to be running out of patience with me, closed his laptop first and left the other computer open. And walk toward me, kinuha ang cellphone na hawak ko at mukhang check out nya na yung gusto ko.

"That's all. You want anything?" He said it with me irritated.

I poured and tumango nalang dahil doon."If you want anything else, just take my cell phone and order. I'll pay for it."

"Nothing else. I just want milktea-."

"Anything. Just milktea?" Parang na disappointed sya sa sinasabi nya."Bahala ka wag ka hihingi sakin mamaya."

"Why? What's did you order?"

"Basta!"

I was so happy when the delivery called that it was already outside. I stood up immediately, I almost fell and my brother hit me. I thought he was going to yell at me, but he shook his head and I could see the worry in his eyes.

"Careful going down the stairs. Wag ka tanga!"

Sumimangot ako bigla dahil doon. Umirap nalang ako at lumabas ng walang shinelas pa baba ng hagdan.

"Thank you po!" I smiled and said ngumiti din si manong. Bayad na iyon but I still give him a tip wala lang nakasanay ko na din.

"Thank po ma'am. Nabigyan na po ka-."

"Iba po yun. Sa kuya ko yun heto ang akin." Sabay abot sakanya.

Tuwa tuwa ako umakyat ng hagdan.

"Morning." I greeted my kuya as I went down the stairs."Did you eat breakfast bro?"I asked him with a smile and took a bite of the bread but left it in my mouth because I was going to put pour milk into the glass.

"I don't eat breakfast. I just ordered in Starbucks."

I raised one eyebrow and snorted."Kuya do you remember jay I mentioned you before?"

"Alangan. He's my friend."

"Friend kayo sa fb or any social media account?"

"Why would I?"

I was confused by what he said. I thought they were friends, not that they should have contact with each other. "Why not?"

"We're not friend in any social media. You know what I'm not active in socmed you know that."

I lost my appetite for that because I really didn't expect anything from him from any angle. Sariling sikap talaga ang gagawin ko sa lagay na ito.

"Mauna na ako kuya."

Pipigilan nya sana ako pero hindi ko na hinintay ang sasabihin nya at lumabas na ng bahay. Mag commute ako ngayon, hindi ko na ako natatakot pag commute at tumawid mag isa dahil marunong na ako.
