chapter four: new cats

He got up, stretching, he went outside, he caught a familiar scent, "ah! Bracken! And fluffy of course!" He purred to his mate and kit, "hey felix, " bracken purred, "say hi to your dad fluffy!" She nudged fluffy forwards, her gray fur glistening in the sun,  "goodmorning!" Fluffy pounced on felix's tail, felix twitched his tail for her to chase,"care for a walk to the gorge? Well, as far as we can grt without getting in the clan territory, " felix asked bracken, "yes! Come on fluffy," bracken said, picking up fluffy "mooomm! I can walk myself!" Fluffy complained, "we dont want you wandering into clan territory," felix explained, hopping over the fence, trotting to a bush, looking back to make sure they were following, trotting past the bush, he walked for a bit, before a unknown scent hit his nose, he heard a voice, "hide! Get under this bush!" He whispered urgently to bracken and fluffy, "but-" fluffy was cut off "shh! It seems theres a new clan! They could attack us" felix whispered, he angled his ears forward to gear the cats talking, "im just not that comfortable being inbetween the twoleg place and Stream-clan, y'know icepelt?" He heard one voice say, "i know, Stream-clan might still be agressive, luckily the gathering is soon and we can explain that it was a wolf killing those cats," the second cat, icepelt, said, felix heart started racing "wolf?" He said out loud, his ears pinned, "willowpaw did you hear that?" Icepelt said, "i did!" Her ears pinning, "Whos there?" Both cats hissed, felix panicked, backing up further into the bush, "run!" He whispered to bracken and fluffy, bracken took fluffy and ran, felix following, a force pushing him into the ground, "who are you!" The cat above him hissed,  felix tried getting out, but the second cat held his head down, "i said who are you" the cat repeated, he looked up as best he could, the cat pinning him was a siamese, the cat holding his head down was a calico, he knew the history behind the clans, they were house cats before they formed their clans, they came from the city across the bridges, thats why there were so many different types. Felix stayed quiet, trying to attack, but his claws had been recently trimmed, making them blunt, the calico, which he was guessing was willowpaw as she was smaller,held down his paw aswell, "answer me!" Icepelt repeated, he heard bracken muttering, willowpaw turned her attention to bracken, who had hidden fluffy, willowpaw  walked towards bracken, felix's pupils turned to slits, he was panicking, i think im about to faint, he thought, blacking out.

He woke up inside a strange den, his heart racing, he closed his eyes as he saw the siamese, icepelt, enter the den, he smelt herbs, must be the medicine den, ah, icepelt must be the medicine cat, and willowpaw her apprentice? "Is he seriously still asleep?" He heard icepelt mutter, what happened to bracken? Did they leave fluffy behind? Did they do something to bracken and fluffy? He heard the siamese going towards the exit, he did his best to keep his ears in place, "hello Sunstar, sorry, he's still asleep, i'll try to wake him up, then you can see him," hm, sunstar? I guess thats the leader of the clan his thoughts were broken as he was gently dragged to a darker area, "wake up," he was shaken, his eyes shot open, he got into a crouching position, crawling away, fur standing on end, "calm down," icepelt hissed, "now, stay here" she hissed, walking away, he waited for her to leave, he looked around, trying to sneak away, as he felt claws in his tail, "she said stay here," agh! Of course she had her apprentice watching me! "Now go back or you'll have claws in your throat," she hissed, felix crawled back to where icepelt had dragged him, don't talk don't, talk, don't talk, don't talk, icepelt and a cat who he guessed was Sunstar, walked in "and he tried escaping didnt he?" Icepelt sighed, willowpaw nodded, "come on willowpaw, its best we let sunstar talk one on one with him," icepelt muttered

SUNSTAR POV

He doesnt talk much does he? Icepelt and willowpaw must of scared him, i'll let him calm down, Sunstar thought, she stared at him, his fear-scent filling up the den, "hello," she said, i should have icepelt get his mate and kit, and riverfur "icepelt!" She called, the toms fear-scent  grew stronger, "yes?" Icepelt said entering the den, "can you get riverfur and the other two that came with him," she s!aid using her tail to point at the tom, icepelt nodded, a moment later the toms mate and kit came in, followed by riverfur,

FELIX POV

Bracken! Fluffy! He almost shot up, but then the other cat came in,  clans have rules right? They dont kill cats! They did say thqt there was a wolf, maybe im safe? Bracken and fluffy seem happy, bracken walked up to him, "felix, dont worry, they were just protecting their territory," bracken purred, "are you and fluffy okay?" Felix muttered, bracken nodded, "what about you?" Bracken asked, felixed looked at his back, it  had multiple scratches, but they had herbs on them, "i guess," he said, Sunstar approched him, he turned and hissed at her, bracken put her paw on felix's,"don't worry, she's kind," bracken said, felix turned to bracken, "are you sure?" He questioned, then looked at Sunstar, seeing fluffy pouncing on Riverfurs tail, he stood up, and grabbed fluffy swiftly, sitting back down, "felix, they asked me a question, they asked- if we would join the clan, if you say yes i say yes," bracken said, staring at felix, felix stared back, "hmm," say yes! This is my dream! "Yes!"  He purred
