DaMonkeeee a new update just for you pookie

Freya sat in the car next to Hill, bouncing her knee up and down. "Hey, Lucie," she said, patting her on the shoulder. For a millisecond, Freya was confused, but she then remembered that was technically her new identity. "I'm fine, Maria," she forced a smile.

"No, you're not. Was it him?"

"I once was in love with him. I watched him die."

Maria nodded and she let Freya rest her head against her shoulder. "Look, for what little consolation this may be worth--"

"Hill, don't start. She needs to know that this Loki isn't the one she used to know."

Half of a tear started to form in Freya's eyes. "Sir, I highly doubt this is what she needs to hear right now. Let's get back to the mobile compound and we'll plan from there."

They arrived back to the compound where Fury immediately began booting the systems up. Hill escorted Freya back to her living quarters and sat with her on her bed. "Wanna tell me about him?"

"What is there to tell? I thought he died, and now he's alive and he wants to kill me."

"No, not that stuff. The things he did for you, the kind things. The things no one ever talks about."

Freya barely managed a smile. She told Hill about how he would cuddle around her, how he would soothe her back to sleep if she had a nightmare, and how she would do the same. "He sounds nice," she smiled. Sounds. Present tense. "He...he was. I don't know who he is, but my Loki is under there somewhere." Hill nodded and patted her back.

Suddenly, Fury came into the room. "Sir, what's going on?" She stood up so quickly, Freya was wondering how it wasn't giving her whiplash. "Coulson contacted me. Stark has been debriefed." A serious look flashed in Hill's eyes, and that's when Freya knew shit was getting real. She had overheard the stories of the legendary Tony Stark, Iron Man. If he was getting involved...this wasn't good.

Hill and Freya followed Fury out, and he told Hill, "I have to go get Rogers. Brief her on the situation while I go." He picked up a manila folder and walked out.

"Lucie, come here." Hill sat down at a desk. She tapped on the screen a few times and briefed her on what was happening, and what she was expected to do. "Should we capture him, what are you prepared to do?"

"I...I don't know at this time, Hill."

She nodded and showed Freya the people Fury was recruiting. Natasha Romanov, aka the Black Widow, Bruce Banner, who could turn into an enormous green rage monster called the Hulk, Tony Stark aka the Iron Man, Steve "Captain America" Rogers, and Freya was most shocked to know that Thor was fighting among them.

"Thor...he could never fight his brother. I grew up with them--" Fury cut in a moment later. "What that man is, what Loki is right now, that is not Thor's brother." Freya knew better than to start crying, even though that was desperately what she wanted to do.

They heard a jet land on the deck of the compound, and Freya bolted upright. "Come on, I'm sure they're going to want to meet you," Hill said. Freya followed Hill out to the deck where she saw Tony out there with Steve, Natasha going to greet them. Freya stood back a bit, she was still new, and she was nervous. Steve caught sight of her.

"Hello, ma'am! Are you with SHIELD?" He asked. Freya smiled and nodded. "Pleasure to meet you, I'm Steve Rogers, but you probably know me as--"

"Captain America. My name's Lucie Pascal, I'm new here."

Steve smiled. Natasha came up next to him. "Agent Romanov, this is Lucie Pascal. She'll be helping us with Loki." Natasha smiled and held out her hand. Freya shook it and Natasha shooed Steve off. "Now, I've heard about you. Do you know anything about Loki we don't know?"

Freya hesitated. "What do you know?" She asked Natasha. "That he's Thor's brother, he's out for blood, conquering the world...and that he needs the Tesseract." Freya nodded and replied cautiously, "We used to be lovers." She would let Natasha go bonkers over that later.

The second Freya saw Thor, she ran and hugged him. "Little sister! I'm so happy to see you, though I wished we could have met under happier circumstances." Freya smiled and Thor said, "This is my...acquaintance, Tony Stark." Tony came to greet her, and was a bit nervous at her appearance. Though to Asgardians she looked timid and meek, to a Midgardian she looked built and like someone who could whoop their ass.

She met Bruce next, whom she liked very much. "Are you going to help us locate Loki?" Freya asked. "Eh, more so locate the Tesseract."

"That might bring Loki to us."

"It might."
