A few days later, Freya and Loki were surprised by Thor's presence in the dungeons. "Brother. Have you come to gloat? To mock?" He hissed. Thor shook his head. "No more illusions, Loki." Loki sighed and lifted his illusion--Thor saw a depressing scene. Freya was tending to his foot, which had been cut by a shattered bowl, and Loki's appearance was for the most part, not tended to.

"Why are you here, Thor?" Freya asked in a tired voice. "I offer revenge. Through my warrior friends, I have found out that some of the Dark Elves survived. One of them killed Mother." Freya looked infuriated. "Why are any of them alive?!" mommy Loki held her back from completely ripping into him. "Freya, I wish I possessed the answer to that question. Unfortunately I do not, and that is precisely why I am going with you to get revenge."

"What about Odin? He'll surely execute me, and perhaps Loki if he finds out about this."

Thor pondered this new development for a moment. Then it came to him. "Heimdall shall let us escape, and then after we are gone to Svartalfheim, he'll alert Odin." Freya's eyes brightened. "So we'll be safe."

"Far from it, darling. Once we're in Svartalfheim, we'll be anything but safe."

"Because of the Dark Elves."

"Precisely," Loki answered. He continued, "Walk me through this again, brother." Freya knew that Loki only called Thor "brother" when he needed a favor or when he wasn't feeling particularly happy. This was one of these instances. Thor cleared his throat. "I will first go down to the tavern in Sveldhar Village and inform Heimdall of the plan. Then I shall go to the training arena and get the Warriors Three and Lady Sif. They'll assist us on our way out, holding the guards back. There's a ship left behind by the Dark Elves that we can commandeer. After we're in the skies Heimdall will inform Odin of our plan."

"This is a terrible idea, brother."

"Do you have a better plan, Loki?"

"No."

"Then we're doing this plan." Loki huffed at his brother and then Thor punched in the code to deactivate the forcefield. As Loki passed by, Thor stopped him. "I don't care if you betray me. If you betray her, I'll make sure to send you back to the dungeons."

"Thor. You know I'd protect her with my life. I would kill myself before I would betray her."

"Good. Because the last thing I want to see is her shattered over you. She's been through heartbreak once. I won't see her like that again."

Loki nodded and followed Freya out of the dungeons. The two brothers split up, Thor going to the village tavern and Freya following Loki to the training arena to brief the Warriors Three and Lady Sif of the plan. Not long after, Thor caught up. "I have told Heimdall. We need to hurry and get up on the ship. It won't be long before he informs Odin."

Loki nodded and rushed Freya to the ship. She got in first, then Loki, then Thor. Thor took control of the ship, much to Loki's dismay. "Are you sure you can control this thing?" Loki asked. "Out of the two of us which one knows how to fly?" Loki huffed, which made Freya giggle. "Yes, my dear. We all know you know how to fly."

Soon enough, Asgardian ships were following them and shooting at them. "Now they're following us."

"I know."

"Now they're firing at us."

"Yes, Loki, thank you for the commentary, it's not at all distracting."

Thor promptly grazed a statue of King Bor. "Well done, you've just decapitated your grandfather." Thor then flew into some statues and other things. "What a great plan. Steal the biggest ship in the galaxy, crashing into things and being as noticeable as possible. It's brilliant Thor, absolutely brilliant--"

Loki was cut off by Thor pushing him out of the ship. "Loki!" Freya yelled, sighing at Thor and then flying down after him. She was relieved when she saw him piloting a skiff. "Don't scare me like that!" She hissed.

"Oh yes, because I chose to be shoved out a ship's door."

"Oh hush, you." Freya helped Loki pilot the skiff until Thor flew down with Mjolnir in hand. They both looked concerned at Loki, piloting the skiff as he started going towards a rock wall, with a crevice that had to be only a few inches wide. "Loki..."

"If it were easy, everybody would do it, darling."

Miraculously, they managed to go through the crevice and then landed a moment later in Svartalfheim. "Ta daaaa."
