I wake up and check the time. Its 9:00. The Chariot Parade starts at 1:00. I dress and go down to breakfast. Talia is talking to Reina about how she took out the Carrers. "Mum, can you show me the roof?' I ask. She smiles. "Of course Laia. Take some food up there." I follow Mum and she takes me to some stairs. We get to the top and I feel the wind on my face. Im overlooking towers and hotels and mansions, shops and houses. I see a small clump of woods there. Im looking at the Capitol from a birds eye view. I smile and start to eat. Mum gives me a tip for the Hunger Games. "Dont ally." She tells me. "Unless its fake." "What do you mean?" I ask. She replies, '' Dont ally because when your ally dies you cry and become weaker. Unless its fake. That means that you ally with someone then kill them." I nod. We talk about how to start a fire with little smoke to large smoke when Reina comes up and tells me its 11:55. I walk down to the elevator and Reina presses a button. We then zip off and soon im in the dressing room with my stylist Cinna. "Dont worry, I styled your mother.'' He says. I smile. "So, there's just a slight change. Instead of a single Chariot its gonna be a double Chariot. Girls in the front and boys at the back." He says. I smile at him. "So, your costumes. Your mothers nickname was The Godess of Flames. So. A Godess of Fire. Lets get started." Next thing I know its make up time. It takes 20 minutes to put on make up and jewlerry and then It takes half an hour to put on my costume. Then we go to our Chariots. Our horses are black with grey manes. I pat one and it neighs happily. We get onto our Chariots and District 1 rides off. We wait a bit. District 10 go and Cinna raises a torch and hands it to us. We give it to Victor after we have all passed it round. Then its our turn. We ride off into the square and the crowd scream with excitment. We have yellow and orange tunics on that kinda glow. The tunics look like the ones that the Greek gods wear. My hair is like what my Mum had in her Parade. Like the girl in the 74th Hunger Games. Our faces have black eyeliner on and red hot lipstick. And our head wreaths are on fire! Literally. A safe fire though. Its not going to burn off all my hair though. We have fake fire bracelets on too except for Victor. He is holding our special maroon red torch. It looks really good with our outfits. I hold up my palm and blow on the bracelets. It shoots out little embers and the crowds scream with excitment. I stretch out my hands to let the fire burn freely. We do one last lap around the square then head back. There is only one thing on my mind.
