------

you and miles met each other in seventh grade. in was in history class, he sat behind you and would always play with your hair.

you were trying to focus but you feel a pencil wrap around a piece of your hair in the back. you can't quite focus so you squint and turn around to see one of your class mates, miles looking at you.

he was laughing and giggling and immediately stopped touching you to make it seem like it wasn't him. he was playing tricks on you.

"will you stop?" you ask him with irritation in your voice.

it's crazy, because that little interaction started something that would change your lives forever.

you started officially dating in eighth grade. you don't really remember if it was serious or not. yk middle school dating is always a blur, you date who you want without thinking of the consequences.

but you had always really loved him. he was like a best friend to you, he was a gentleman, not to mention how close you were.

you'd often come over his house and your family got along with his.

miles was always there to comfort you, make you laugh, and make you feel like the prettiest girl in the world.

it wasn't until high school, things began to shift between you two.

you and miles lost your virginities to each other in 9th grade. you had trusted him completely, and you didn't want anyone else to touch you. not to mention you two were dating for a really long time, and the relationship was serious.

this created a shift in things. because of the way he touched and cherished your body in ways no other man did, you became attached.

all you ever known was each other.

miles got used to the change quickly, and he liked it. he liked that you were more dependent on him, he liked that you were more clingy, you wanted his attention all the time.

the relationship was still pure. until it started to not be.

"yo, like i don't understand why you always gotta do this to me bruh, im tryna have - im tryna have fun- no i wasn't fucking dancing with her," miles argued across the phone to you.

it all started when travis threw a party after junior year during the summer.

the purple and blue lights were flashing as the R&B music continued to play. you and miles came to the party all loved up on each other, until eventually you parted ways to hang out with your friends.
