*Luna's POV*
After my mom left, (thank God) I went upstairs to do my homework. After I got it done, and might I add, it was easy mostly because I pay attention in class and get good grades, I saw I got a text.
******: Heyy this is Niki
Oh cool, Niki texted me, I saved his number in my phone and texted him back.
Me: Hey Niki, oh and also this is Luna :)
I smile to myself lightly, it feels a little weird getting texts since I barely get them. I look at my phone to see I got another text from Niki.
Niki: Wyd rn
Me: I just got done with homework wbu
It took a few minutes for him to answer back, he was probably doing homework or something. So, I started drawing, then I got a text but I saw it was from my mother. I groan slightly.
The lady: I won't be home tonight I'll be with my boyfriend for however long I want to
Me: ok. I'm actually quite glad you won't be home for god knows how long.
The lady: Well I'm just as happy to get away from a little brat like you
I saw the text she sent me and I didn't even respond or even care. Like I said earlier, I'm used to her saying stuff like that so I just don't care anymore. I saw I got another text but I saw it was from Niki.
Niki: yk we should hang out sometime
Me: yessssss actually are you free today?
Niki: yes
Me: ok I know a great spot, meet me at my house in like a hour
Niki: ok
Wow! I can't believe it! I'm actually going to be hanging out with my actual real friend. Oh, and before any of you say "LuNa YoU gUyS jUsT mEt!" Let me explain, when I started talking to him today, I felt like he is a nice, funny, and trustworthy guy. However, it's not like I'm in some cliché love story where I develop feelings right away because I don't really believe in love at first sight.
Anyways I'm just gonna draw and eat a small snack before Niki texts me he's at my house.
