At last, the day has come. Severus woke me up early before going to grab his bags from his room and placing them next to the door. I grabbed my one suitcase and sat it next to his. With a nod his way, he sent our luggage to Hogwarts, he then looked my way. "Albus will be here in a moment." I nodded, only a minute after, we heard a pop outside and in came Albus. I waved his way with a bright smile, "Ah, Hello my dear, how are you holding up, being cooped up with this party pooper that is." I held my hand over my mouth as if to giggle, 'I'm holding up just fine Sir, Severus is just as I remember him, well..mostly' He nodded curtly then turned to Severus, "I have some news regarding her family, turns out she is the last of an old noble family, the Sallow family was of pureblood decent, that would explain her ability of wandless magic." he looked over at me with his half moon spectacles. I sat quietly as I didn't know exactly what he was talking about, "Her family died during the first wizarding war, after she was adopted by her aunt who lived with her mother, Aviannas grandmother, who was murdered by DeathEaters. After that, their whereabouts where unknown until she resurfaced," he turned to me, "You said your aunt was murdered correct?" I nodded, he continued, "What was your uncles name?" I glanced at Severus as I became nervous from all the questions, 'Derek Sallow' He nodded, "He is a DeathEater, he has yet to be found, also, your fathers whereabouts have come to light, he stays in Britain. Something tells me, that he is unaware that he has a child, I've observed him for a while and he seems like a strong but quiet man." I smiled a little at the fact, my father was in fact alive, I wonder if I'll be able to meet him. Albus pulled a key out of his pocket and handed it to me, "This is your Gringots vault key, looks like your mother left you the money and their estate." my eyes went wide as he looked at Severus, "Make sure she's ready, the first years arrive at 9pm sharp," his smile meets his glasses, "Well I'll be off." With a pop, he was gone. I looked over at Severus, 'Make sure I'm ready?' He smiled my way, "Well, looks like it's finally time to receive a wand of your own." he walked close to me, placing his hand on my shoulder, all of a sudden, the world around us spun out of focus so fast it made me dizzy, I shut my eyes tight, only focusing on the scraping of the wind. Finally, our feet landed on the ground with a tap. For a moment I was afraid to open my eyes until I heard Severus place himself behind me, "Open your eyes," he whispered in my ear. Slowly I peaked through my eye lashes before completely opening my eyes in shock. The place was huge, shops of different demeanors lined the street, children of all shapes and sizes walked together, talking and laughing amongst themselves. The shop windows were filled with colors. Owls sat outside doors, bats hung upside down, cats walked around weaving in and out of the bustling bodies. I smile brightly, amazed at the sight of everything. After a moment of walking through the crowd, I became anxious by the amount of people around, my hand quickly found its way to the back of Severus's robes. He didn't seem to mind as he led me to a building with white pillars, it read Gringots Bank on the top of the entrance.

My curiosity, pulled at my thoughts as I saw little men with pointy ears manning desks all around me, some were smaller then others which made me smile, finally we made it to a more important looking one, with gray hair and glasses, Severus spoke, "Avianna Sallow, wishes to make a withdrawal." at that moment, A lot of the little men turned at the mention of my name, then the older one spoke, "Very well." He had a smaller one guide us to the cart looking machine and off it went, stopping at a vault, "Vault 394," the man spoke in a high pitched voice, Severus gestured for me to follow him, the little man opened the vault with the key Albus gave me. With a loud clunk, the door swung open, my eyes went wide with the amount of gold coins that came into view. Severus told me to fill the two cloth bags I received coming in here, which I did.

As we left the bank I looked up at Severus, 'What were those things?' He chuckled at my question, "Those are goblins Avianna, they aren't particularly friendly." I nodded, as I figures that was the case. curiously looking around, I followed Severus once again, we went to many places, getting books and cloths, and I even got a cat as well. The last place we visited was apparently a wand shop, Olivanders was the name of it. My nervousness went high as we walked in, It was quiet for a moment, only for a few seconds however as a older man walked out of the shadows, "Ah Severus, I haven't seen you in ages, and who might this be?" He leans sideways to get a better look at me, Severus spoke, "This is Avianna Sallow, she has come in search of a wand." He looks at me for a bit longer as he whispered, "Sallow you say..." his light eyes made ne nervous, causing me to step a bit closer to Severus. Finally he walked to the back of his shop in search of something. Severus took this chance to look over his shoulder at me, "Are you alright?" I nodded, 'Yes, though slightly uncomfortable' He nodded in understanding as the old man came back holding a few slender boxes in his hand.

He opened one of them, revealing a light brown wand with beautiful vine like carvings on it, and handed it to me. I took it lightly and looked at him confused, "Come on give it a wave," I looked at Severus who nodded encouragingly. So I held it out a little and gave it a wave. We jumped at the sudden sound of a lamp shattering, the pieces falling to our feet, "Nope," he said, as he took the wand from me, he put it back in its box and took out another, this one was a darker brown, with a fang like handle. Again I gave it a wave, this time every piece of paper in the area, flew around violently before flying at me forcefully, Severus lifted his cloak to protect me from the savage pieces of paper. The old man chuckled, "I'm guessing that's a definite nope." I quickly handed it back to him as I was terrified of what might fly at me next. He pulled a third one out, this one was black the handle had a black cobra head with green emerald eyes. I picked it up and held it. Wind surrounded me, but not forcefully, like a light breeze, and an odd warmth engulfed my body, as if a piece of my soul had been filled. I didn't want to let it go, Olivander smiled, "That wand was made from the same tail feathers as the one that made your fathers." I smiled up at him, Severus spoke, "This must be the wand you were supposed to receive all those years ago." He smiled softly at me. "Come on, we have to go." We left after I paid the old wand keeper.

After sending our things to Hogwarts, Severus held my shoulder once more. "Ready?" I nodded with a grin, 'I've been ready' With a light chuckle, our world was pulled into a vortex once again. I bit my lip in anticipation. Then with a tap of our toes, I opened my eyes, to reveal, a giant castle that stood on a mountain peak. It towered over us with a magnificent view of the black waters that surrounded it. I smiled up at Severus brightly, he then led me inside to what he said was the Great Hall. There at the end of the room stood Albus and a few others. Severus led me to the group, me following very closely behind him. "Albus," he said with a nod toward the old man. "Ah Severus, Avianna, welcome, you're just in time." He turned towards the others who were standing quietly, "Everyone, this is Avianna Sallow, she will be joining our ranks." I glanced at Severus, who was standing quietly watching the group. "Sallow you say Albus?" an older lady with a pointy witches hat chimed in. Albus nodded, "Yes Minirva, it seems, we have found their last direct descendant." I grabbed onto the back of Severus's robes, he in turn moved slightly in front of me, Minirva spoke again, "How is that possible Albus? We were told that they all perished," Albus looked over at me, "It seems that they were wrong, we will discuss details in my office after the first years have their dinner, come let us have a seat, the ceremony will begin soon," Finally everyone stopped starring at me for the time being as we all walked to the long table and found our seats. Me sitting next to Severus of course.

Honestly I don't know what to expect. It seems my family was more important then I thought.
