Your POV
I was sitting in my couch by myself it was about 10am and I was still in pijamas drinking coffee, it was a bit dark out side the clouds were gray it was gonna start raining.
Some people might find it comforting except me, I mean I use to but now its just boring and hate it, I don't like it when it rains it just reminds me of moments that I'm trying to forget I've tried so hard get rid of all this memories, but it's as if they are engraved onto my brain they will always be there.
As I was deep in thought I heard my phone ring I lazily grabbed it and answered it without looking at the caller ID "Y/n-ah finally you answer the damn phone! I was worried sick about you woman!" The voice on the other line said in a worried and irritated tone "I'm sorry ning ning, Don't worry I'm fine I'm just a bit tired these days you know I have a lot of work" I explained to my friend I hear her sigh "Y/n, I'm your best friend please don't lie to me I know this break up thing is really getting to you, but it's been weeks Y/n" Ning Ning said, I she knows me too well and I can't lie to her, but I don't want her to worry about me "Aish Ning Ning I already told I'm fine just tired trust me I already forgot about the whole thing I just have a lot of work so please don't worry so much I'm fine" I said in a calm tone trying to make her believe me "Hmm.. I don't know Y/n, but I'll trust for now just know that I'm here if you need something okay just call me in case something happens" She says sounding unsure and a bit worried "I know I know, Thank you I appreciate it, but like I said I'm good I gotta go now I have work to do byee" I told her waiting for her to say bye back and hang up "Alright I'll let you do your work then bye take care" She said finally hung up, after that I threw my phone in the couch my coffee had gotten cold and I didn't want to drink it so I got up to put it in the sink.
I went upstairs to my room to get a hoodie because I was cold. Once I got there I opened the door to my room and went to the closet as soon as I opened the closet door something caught my eye it was a large navy blue hoodie, it was hers I wanted to grab it and just burn it, but at the same time I wanted to wear it I hated the fact I badly wanted to wear it to remember her and her scent that was probably engraved to it.
After a moment of thinking I grabbed it and put it on, I walked towards my bed layed there hearing as the rain started pouring the sound of the raindrops hitting the roof of the house and the ground got louder and louder each minute aside from that its quiet in here and it's dark it wasn't always like this. Suddenly I start to remember this one moment that was held in this room.
FLASHBACK
"Y/n-ah baby can you come help me down here" I hear my girlfriend shout from downstairs "Coming babe" I shout back and quickly run out of the room down stairs I left so quickly I forgot to put on my slippers so I was walking on the cold floor bare food on a rainy day. When I got down stairs I see my girlfriend in the kitchen making what seem to be hot coco.
I smile at the sight and start walking towards her once I'm right behind her I back hug her and rest my head on her shoulder "Hi baby what did you need" I mumbled against her shoulder as she just smiles and turns to look at me not before turning off the stove "Oh nothing I just wanted you to be here with me" she said smiling at me and giving me a quick peck on the lips I return the smile and just shake my head a bit "Well you could've just said that I rushed out of the room I even forgot to put on my slippers and now I'm bare foot" I said she then looked at my bare feet and back at me she chuckled "I'm so sorry love I didn't mean to worry you now now you go back to the room get under the covers before you get sick the floor must be cold, I'll be there in a minute I'll just serve us the hot coco" She said and kissed my forehead and turned to grab two cups to pour us some hot coco "No it's okay I'll help you carry the hot coco upstairs plus if I do get sick it's gonna be okay because you'll take care of me right?" I teased and laughed a little "Yeah of course I will babe but you need to listen to me and go back to room grab a hoodie and get under the covers" She said scolding me a again I just nodded and went to room.
