3RD PERSON POV
The streets were almost empty mostly everyone was sleeping already except the ones that had to work or couldn't sleep. Danielle was one of them for some odd reason she couldn't fall asleep, she had been having trouble sleeping for many nights now. Danielle sat up from her bed staring into nothing she needed to relax somehow, she lived by the beach so she decided to take a walk maybe that'll relax or tire her a bit for her to fall asleep. Danielle got up from her bed.
She walked out of her room and headed down stairs, when she got to the living room she walked to towards the door, she grabbed her jacket keys and put on her shoes and stepped out. It was quite chilly outside, but that didn't bother Danielle much she liked the cold she liked to feel the gentle breeze hit her face, it was nice.
She walked down the street, there was no one in sight, the beach was right in front of her. She took of her shoes and socks before walking in the sand, she always liked how the sand felt against her feet, she walked towards the shore, she looked at the ocean it looked beautiful under the moonlight she could see how the big waves progressably get smaller as the water reached the spot on which she was standing, the sound of Ocean brought piece to her. Danielle closed her eyes enjoying this moment and feeling the breeze, she slowly opened her eyes again.
She decided to take a walk by the shore, after a few minutes of walking Danielle spotted a tall figure, it was quite far away, but she could tell it was a girl because of the long hair, Danielle didn't pay much attention to her and simply turned around to go back home since it was a little late.
Over the next few nights Danielle kept going for walks at the beach, those walks seem to help her sleep. Danielle always saw the girl as well, each day she would see her sitting down by the shore or walking around. Danielle never really paid any mind to her, but she sometimes felt the urge to talk to the girl maybe be friends with her, but wouldn't it be weird if she just goes up to a stranger in the middle of the night wanting to be friends with her? Yes it would be very weird and that is why Danielle never talked to her, she just walked around until it was time for her to go back home and sleep peacefully.
A few weeks later...
Today was like any other night, Danielle went out for a walk at the beach, except today she had mustered up all of her courge to finally go talk to the mystery woman she always saw at the beach. She was hoping that the girl didn't think it was weird that a stranger wanted to be friends with her and walk away. She was nervous and she didn't know why it was just a girl that she didn't even know, there is no need for her to be nervous. Once Danielle got to her usual spot, she saw the girl not too far away from her.
Danielle took a deep breath and mentally prepared herself as she walked over to the girl, she wasn't sure of what she should say or how to start a conversation with the woman that was now a few feet away from her.
Danielle finally reached the girl, she looked down at her and finally spoke up "uhm excuse me" She said leaning down to tap the woman's shoulder, which made the girl in front of her look at her with a confused look "Yes? Do you need anything?" Said the girl as she stood up to face Danielle, her voice was deep and raspy she was also really tall "Oh uhm no I just couldn't help but noticed your always here when I take walks you know and uhm I just thought maybe I could be friends with you or something.." Danielle said looking down at her feet, clearly nervous and a bit embarrassed "Oh, I don't know what to say, it kinda random, but I could use somebody to walk with" The girl said, Danielle was a bit shocked by her answer she quickly looks up to see the girl slightly smiling at her, Danielle returned the smile "Well then I can walk with you, I'm Danielle by the way, Danielle Marsh" Danielle said putting out her hand for the girl to shake "Nice to meet you Danielle, I'm L/n Y/n" The taller girl said as she shook hands with Danielle, they both had shyly smiled at each other.
