Jade felt like she was in a fight for her life, her body stretched out on the reformer machine, her hands reaching far beyond what her mind thought was capable. Beads of sweat started to form on her forehead as she continued to push through her reps despite her body telling her to give up.

"Great form Jade," Her instructor complimented, walking around the room fixing the other women who seemed to struggle with the challenging position. She was in New York for all of twenty four hours and was already back into her routine.

Her eyes shifted to her left seeing her best friends Reign and Nova effortlessly doing their reps, the two enrolled in the Pilates class two months before she started.

Their classes soon ended with a cooldown stretch, leaving Jade's body aching.

"I seriously can't wait for my massage later." She huffed, slurping down the contents of her green smoothie from Joe and the Juice. The cold air felt good against her hot skin, her white Lululemon jacket unzipped exposing her black and white Chanel sports bra.

"We really need to lock back into our two a days Jade, summer will be here before you know it." Reign stressed.

"Summer is a feeling not a season for me." Jade said,  kicking snow with the toe of her silver Chanel sneakers.

"Oh we know, there's not a flight you won't catch." Nova teased as Jade laughed. Jade didn't care what was going on in the world, if someone invited her on a trip she was going. She didn't wait for summer to hit to enjoy the sun.

"So how was Gstaad?" Reign asked as all three girls piled into Jade's glossy black G Wagon. She rarely drove her car while in New York, opting for the family driver to take her everywhere, but she missed driving her baby and hated that she was collecting dust in her parking garage.

"It was so good, I was long overdue for a majestic winter getaway." Jade said, letting her body sink into the cold custom baby pink leather seat.

"The thought of going back to Switzerland makes me sick to my stomach." Nova expressed, making obnoxious barfing sounds. All three girls attended Le Rosay, a private boarding school in Rolle, Switzerland which subscribed them to both traumatic and once in a lifetime experiences.

"No seriously, that country is cursed." Reign co-signed, plugging her phone into the aux as Jade started up the car.

"No Taylor Swift on the aux Reign or you're walking home." Jade warned as Nova laughed. "But I don't know you guys, I always enjoy my time in Switzerland it's almost as if my brain blocks out boarding school."

"Or maybe it's who you enjoy while you're there." Nova smirked. Jade could just feel the shift in energy, watching Reign from the corner of her eye. The two been friends for years, but always seemed to have a love hate relationship after they fell out for years over Levi.

Jade was the first to mention that she was interested in getting to know Levi, but it was Reign who got him first. The two were regarded as the "it couple" in school, but their relationship lasted for two months before they called it quits. They just weren't compatible.

Jade and Levi were always friends and gradually became more than that after his breakup which led to Jade and Reign's fall out. Overtime they became friends again, but it was really never the same.

"Next topic." Jade said, putting the volume up with one hand on Gwen Stefani's "Rich Girl" as she drove with the other.

"It's okay to talk about Levi around me Jade, I'm completely over him." Reign said, aimlessly scrolling through her phone.

"It's cool, I rather talk about how my brother got Eden pregnant in less than a year of knowing her." Jade said causing both Reign and Nova to gasp.

"Oh my god I can literally feel my heart breaking in my chest," Nova said dramatically. "I thought he would wait for me."
