"I can't believe I let you talk me into this." Erin mumbled from beside Jade, both of them pushing out their reps on the reformer as the instructor made her way around the room. Jade convinced Erin to attend her 8 am Pilates class today since Reign and Nova decided to sleep in.

The sleek studio was filled with soft, meditative music, sunlight streaming through the large windows and bouncing off the mirrors lining the walls. The instructor, an impeccably toned woman with a calming voice, walked around the room correcting postures and offering encouragement.

"You got it Erin, you're doing good," Jade chuckled offering words of support. "And you'll be thanking me when you see the results."

"Great form, ladies. Just one more set!"

After class, Jade grabbed her go to Birkin from the locker room, packed with contracts and paperwork she needed Erin to review during breakfast.

As they walked out the studio, Erin massaged her shoulder with one hand while scrolling through her phone with the other.

"I need coffee real bad Jade." Erin said, knowing she wouldn't be able to sit through everything Jade wanted to go over without it.

"Not just coffee, breakfast. I need you in a good mood for what's next." Jade smirked, unlocking the doors to her G- wagon.

They hopped in, the scent of vanilla diffusing softly in the car. They arrived at their go to spot a short drive later, a popular brunch spot downtown owned by one of Jade's neighbors in her building.

They were regulars to the point where the servers knew their order before they even sat down. Jade ordered her usual—a matcha latte and avocado toast with truffle oil, while Erin got a lox bagel and a cappuccino.

Once they placed their orders, Jade pulled out a stack of papers and slid them across the table to Erin.

"Okay, business first. These are the latest contracts for the press tour. I want you to double-check everything before we have Vanessa look over it too."

Erin flipped through the pages, her brow furrowing slightly as she scanned the fine print.

"Looks straightforward so far, but I'll give it a closer look later," Erin said, taking the papers and tucking them into her black Bottega Andiamo bag Jade got her for her birthday. "I have something I have to go over with you too. Vogue loved you so much from the what's in my bag segment that they want you to come back but instead this time with Chauncey to do a cooking segment."

Chauncey was one of Jade's cast mates, playing the role of her character Destiny's love interest. She only spoke to him a few times, but based on their brief interactions, she thought he was cool.

Jade instantly frowned. "Erin I literally cannot cook. Is this my public humiliation ritual?"

Erin couldn't help but laugh at Jade's dramatics. "It's supposed to be fun and lighthearted. They even suggested you make a Guyanese dish to really connect with a wider audience."

"Hmm," Jade said, thinking about it. "Let me think about it. It's Vogue so I technically can't say no, that's like against my beliefs."

"The drama," Erin said as Jade laughed. "Anything else you wanna go over? Cause I think we need to talk about the heart attack you almost gave me when I got the Loro Piana stroller you sent over."

"Wait you don't like it?" Jade asked with a frown.

"I love it, but my kid does not need a $9,000 stroller Jade." Erin said, causing Jade to playfully roll her eyes.

"You're right, I should of got her the matching Loro onesie set too." Jade teased as Erin shook her head.

Once their food arrived, Jade felt her nerves get the best of her thinking of the best way to tell Erin what she been wanting to tell her.
