Chapter 22 : Secrets

Kyungsoo's POV

It's been a month since So Hyun and I started dating, but it feels like I still don't know her that much.

She's honest with our relationship, but she's mysterious in her own way. I know she lives with her grandma, I know her favorite food, know the things she likes, her pet peeves, I'm also getting used to her attitude.She always goes silent if she's irritated about something. She doesn't talk that much, but when she does, it's always meaningful.

"Oppa!" She chirped, walking towards me.

"Did you sleep well?" I asked, placing the strand of her hair behind her left ear.

"Mmmm." She nodded then slid her hands into mine.

She stared at me innocently, then smiled brightly.

I love it whenever she looks at me like that, it feels like she's so sincere and so pure.

"That's good to hear." I held her hand tight as we walked by.

We were almost near the school gate when I pulled her hand close to me and hugged her tight.

She looked surprised at what I did, she gently removed herself from me and hugged me back.

"Why? Is there a problem?" She asked, staring back at me.

I can see her pupils dilated as she stares at me. I can't help but feel the butterflies in my stomach flying.

I suddenly get shy, then look away from her stare.

"I found a new coffee shop near your place." I started. I reached her hand, then began to walk again. "There's a lot of books and board games too. I know you'll love it.

I could see her lips curve with what she heard. "Ooh sounds interesting." She replied, then held my hand again as we walked slowly. "Do you want to go later?" She added, looking at me with her innocent gaze.

Those eyes, those pretty and innocent eyes.

I gulped nervously then nodded my head in response.

We've been dating for almost a month and a half now, but I still feel nervous around her.

We finally reached the entrance of the school. We saw Karina walking with her eyes fixed on her phone. She noticed us then fit herself in between me and So Hyun, causing our hands to separate.

"What do we have here?" She started.

I scoffed and narrowed my eyes at her. "What do you think? You just ruined it."

She raised her brow then pulled So Hyun further. "Really?"

"Aish this girl." I murmured, then continued walking. So Hyun, on the other hand, keeps on giggling.

She knows I always get irritated whenever Karina is around.

I glanced at her still irritated, then finally gave in with her sweet smile.

"We have to go now! Well see you later at the cafeteria Sunbae!" Karina said as they walked towards their building.

So Hyun looked at me again, then waved his hand.

I waved my hand back, then waited for them to get inside their room.

"The power of love indeed?" Sunoo whispers.
