Chapter 17

"I'm so tired" I sigh laying on Matt's chest

"You're telling me" He laughs, today hadn't even started and we were already tired out from the stressful morning. I think Matt had a party planned out tonight which would be fun.

"I did just tell you" I laugh, I listened to his calm breathing coming from his chest.

"Shut up you pleb" He smiles as he played with my hair, his body was so warm I could lie here all day.

"I need a drink but I don't want to get up because you're so comfortable" I sigh as I painted circles into his chest, this is the quietest we've both been since we've been together, honestly, I know we seem like a needy relationship, which we were. We were constantly making out and other things but this time we were just laying there, barely speaking, it was nice. It was like we were having a break from each other, while we were still together.

"I can get you something if you want?" Carter speaks looking up from his phone.

"No thanks, that means I'll have to lift up then this part of Matt's chest will get cold" I sigh still painting circles into his chest, I feel Matt laugh at my choice of words.

"You're like a baby who needs everything" Matt speaks

"Shhh, I just deserve everything because I'm the best girlfriend in the world" I smile, I see Carter shake his head before looking back at his phone.

"Is the party tonight?" Carter asks looking up from his phone

"Nah not tonight, me and Jade have other plans for tonight" Matt smiles winking at Carter

"Do we?" I ask looking up at him

"We're only going to watch a movie, don't get too desperate" He laughs kissing my nose, I slap him gently before sitting up.

"I'm off out for a bit, talk to ya later" Carter smiles standing up

"Off to see Maggie?" Matt asks

"Nah she's not in LA at the moment, we're arguing again anyway" Carter replies forcing a smile, Matt simply nods before Carter walks out.

"You just made that conversation awkward" I giggle closing my eyes

"Oh shut up you" He laughs as he continues to play with my hair.
