Chapter 24

We all waited for a while until getting in the pool, we grabbed some wine and sat around the edge of the pool. I was in the middle of Matt and Carter, opposite of me was Cam.
"Okay, I will go first. Truth or dare Aaron?" Matt asks pointing at Aaron as everyone turned to face him.
"Um, truth" he laughs with his cute giggle he does.
"Have you ever had a crush on anyone in this pool?" Matt asks looking over at him.
"Um yeah, I have actually" He smiles as his cheeks turn a shade of pink
"Aww" Lucy speaks, this was the most she'd spoke since a few days.
"Okay next, Cam" Aaron says pointing at Cam who was smiling at Georgia, oh...
"Dare" he speaks taking his eyes her.
"I dare you to call the 10th person on your contacts and tell them that you're in love with them" Aaron laughs, Cam picks up his phone and scrolls through.
"Are you serious?!" he shouts laughing
"Who is it?" Georgia shouts out, she always had to have the attention
"Your brother, Georgia" he sighs as he starts the call and puts it on loud speaker.
"Yo bro" Cam speaks
"What's up?" I hear Georgia's brother speak
"I'm just calling because I need to get something off my chest, it's been on my mind for a while now" Can says as he holds his fist in his mouth
"What's that?" He asks
"Long story short, I have feelings for you, and they're never gonna leave Dan" he says, everyone was laughing but I was failing to find the humour
"Wait is this a prank? I know you're with Georgia" Dan laughs
"No no, this is real talk, I'm in my room" Cam speaks
"Cam I just heard Georgia laugh" Dan laughs
"Oh man Georgia, it was going fine until you laughed" Cam shouts hanging up as everyone started laughing as I grab my glass of wine and check the time on my phone which read '10:49pm'
"Georgia, thruth or dare?" Madi asks, I was getting sick of her now
"Dare" Georgia smiles
"I dare you to make out with Johnson" she laughs, at least it wasn't Cam.
"I don't know if that's a good idea" Georgia speaks struggling to get her words out, she turns to face Shawn who nods as Johnson walks over to her and kisses her.
"Right Jade.." Madi smiles grabbing my attention "truth or dare" she continues
"Dare" I reply forcing a smile as I take a sip from my glass
"I dare you to make out with Carter" she smiles clapping her hands, I felt Matt tighten his grip around my waist as I turn to face him
"You aren't going to do it are you?" Matt whispers
"It's just a kiss it isn't going to mean anything" I laugh as I felt Carter tug at my arm
"Please" he whispers, his eyes looked hurt. It was just a dare, if only it was Cam so I could rub it in Georgia's face. I turn to look at Cam who was staring at me before twisting to face Carter. He removed his hand from my arm and moves it up to my cheek, caressing it gently. I felt his lips hover over mine before they finally collided, our lips instantly moved in sync slowly, it was a slow romantic kiss unlike the ones we had before which were rough. I felt his tongue begging for entrance but I denied him as we continued to move our lips slowly. I pull away to see everyone looking. I turn to Matt who had a pissed off look on his face.
"I cant believe this" He sighs climbing out the pool.
"What the fuck have I done wrong now?" I shout as I climb out. I wrap a towel around my body as I enter the house, I didn't bother going after him because I knew he would forgive me soon anyway. I sit down on the couch as everyone stayed in the pool.
"You okay?" I hear someone speak, I instantly knew who it was by the choice of words
"Oh, it's you again" I laugh as he sits next to me
"You're getting bored of me already?" He asks laughing
"Of course not" I smile nudging him
"That kiss out there was passionate" Cam speaks looking at the floor
"It didn't feel passionate" I lie, it did.
"What ever, a kiss is a kiss" He smiles, I just wanted to hug him, and it's weird I'm saying that because Matt would just get 'jealous' but it's true.
"Thank you" I sigh looking at him as our eyes met.
"For?" He asks looking confused
"You're the only one who's actually understanding me, I bet them in the pool are telling me how I'm such a whore and I don't 'care' about Matt's feelings" I sigh, I felt a lump in my throat at how those words were actually true, I was a whore, and even though I did care about Matt's feelings, I obviously didn't care enough to not cheat on him with his best friend.
"Don't think like that, ever. They're your best friends out there, and I don't ever want you to think like that." He speaks, his tone was serious as he placed his hand on my leg.
"You don't understand, but thank you" I force a smile as I stand up
"I don't understand what?" He asks, I just wanted to tell him all about what happened with me and Carter but I couldn't.
"Nothing. Goodnight Dallas" I smile waving as I ran up the stairs. I open the door and climb into bed quietly
"Jade" I hear Matt whisper, I don't face him instead I turn the other way
"What?" I snap as he runs his hands on my hip
"I didn't mean to get mad, it was just, it hurt seeing you kiss another guy" Matt sighs as I turn to face him finally giving in
"It was just a dare, Shawn didn't mind when Johnson and Georgia kissed, I don't like it when you're protective" I sigh, he moves back a little at my words
"You don't like me?" He asks, tears filled his eyes
"I just need a break right now Matt" I sigh as I stand up pulling a top over my body and walking out, I wasn't sure where I was going but all I wanted to do was run. I run back downstairs and into the living room lying on the couch, have I just ended the hapliest relationship of my life?
