Chapter 16

Jennie's POV

I woke up feeling better than ever. I don't know, I never felt this feeling before. So suprising for me.

A smell of a fried rice with mixed of sweet-something, I cannot describe the last one. I took a bath first and went out of my room.

Maybe, Chahee cooked something for me.

"Good morning!" I scream.

"Oh, someone woke up on the right side of the bed, huh?" Her husky voice make me stunned.

Oh my gosh... I am not really dreaming last night?

"Shit, I thought it's Chahee." My wide smile earlier dropped.

"I see." She look at me for a second before she came back of what she was doing.

I went to the refrigerator to get a milk but before I could reach the handle, she stopped me midway.

"Don't. I make some smoothie for us."

Oh, okay.

Like a good kitten, I went back from my seat and play with my fingers.

"Just wait a minute."

"Sure." I don't have any plans, so take your time. I wanted to say that too but nope. Not gonna happen. 

I should be angry but I can't she took care of me last night which I find very weird because that made me sleep better.

Her soft touch last night... oh no. Stop right there, Ruby Jane.

"Here, eat now." She gave me a plate with a fried rice on it and a sunny-side-up egg with a bacon. Of course, her smoothie.

"That's a mixed fruit smoothie, Jisoo told me that you like those. So, I make it for us." She bit her lower lips.

"Thanks." I nodded and start eating the foods in front of me.

I wanted to compliment her for being a good cooker today but I won't, it's a bit awkward to suddenly compliment her. I never do that to anyone than Chahee and Jisoo.

"Do you like it?" She asked me when I took a sipped of my smoothie.

"Uhm... It's kinda good." Kinda?! Really? It's fucking good!

Damn it! Even my inner self won't cooperate with me!

I saw her smiled but I think I was just seeing things because it's suddenly faded.

My phone rang.

-On Call-

"RJ?"

"What?"

"You want to have a coffee later?"

"What time?"

"Around 2 o'clock?"

"Later."

"Who's that?"

"Chahee, she invite me to have a coffee with her later."

"I'll go with you later."

I look at her.

"And why?"

"To be with you?" She reason out as if it's not a big deal.

"You what? Are you out of your mind?"

Chahee haven't meet you yet and I'm not planning to introduce you!
