Jennie's POV

She really did it infront of Lisa, the shamed left her body. How dare she. Even the shame left her body now, what's new?

She always hurt me since I was young but I understand her behavior because she is sick! She just can't accept the fact that she was sick before that's why I am the one who told her about her condition.

If she just knew her self more, she will know it but unfortunately, she didn't.

"You fucking disgraceful kid! You're disgusting!" The slapped hurt me and for sure that leaves my skin reddened.

"Mrs. Kim!" Lisa shouted roared.

Lisa hold my wrist lightly and pulled me behind her, protecting from my own mother. My mother looked so shock to see Lisa. She didn't expect Lisa here, she may be thought that I'll be back here without someone. She was perfectly wrong on that one.

"What the hell are you doing?" I saw how Lisa's jaw clenched.

I was just behind her, watching. I don't know what to say.

"T-that woman is really disrespecting us! Her parents!" She tried to be stern but failed.

My parents... I see.

"Then why did you slapped her, Mrs. Kim? Isn't it also disrespecting her?"

"She leave the country without us knowing it!"

"That's too petty to slap her! I won't let it pass this time." Lisa said angrily but still trying not to burst out more.

"Lisa! We have a celebration party and I expected her to be there because for sure I'll be asking many questions about her! And she is not there. Some of my friends said that we raised her awfully!"

"It's not a good reason to slapped your daughter like that, Mrs. Kim!"

The old woman just sighed.

"Let's go, Jennie and we'll talk about this." Her facial looks very dark and angry.

But I stiffened when she touch my left cheeks where my own mother slap me earlier.

"It's reddish." She whispered.

I just smiled at her to make her calm a bit.

"Those smile of yours won't help me."

I pouted.

We entered her car again. We are both silent, no one dares to talk during the whole ride which I find really awkward. I never felt this kind of awkward before. Lisa looks so pissed and mad, that bothered me so much.

I tried to open the stereo of the car but I didn't. We remained silent until we arrived.

"You go first, I'll call someone."

Just like a good kitten, I nodded didn't asked any further questions.

I have a clue who is she calling but I'll let her deal with it because I can't tell it, I never thought of telling her about those incidents since before. So, I guess I'll let her handle it.

I went inside the condominium unit, I took a short shower first. I smelled something. After taking a shower I went to the kitchen to cook something that I know and that I am expert of. Thankfully I know some english dishes and also the ingredients are all complete here, no need to go for a shopping.

It took time before I heard the door open and it revealed Lisa's thin body. When our eyes locked at each other, she immediately looked away.

'What the shit is wrong now?'
