Today is the day of the DHS farewell event held at Lippo Mall near my apartment. I have called Dista and Rafi to join me and accompany me to the event, which I think is not that important. "Come on, Raf, let's go." I invite Dista and Rafi to leave. "Sure, let's go, guys." Rafi says excitedly. I haven't told Rafi and Ardista about Verrel, who is now close to me. I'm sure Dista can guess it, but Rafi probably can't guess it for sure.

3 hours into the event and it's break time...

"So, what do you think, Nick?" Rafi asks for my opinion.

Me, Rafi, and Dista are at Coffee Maxx, taking a short break after the enthusiastic event.

"Rafi, it's just a run-of-the-mill human special performance show." I honestly answer.

"Just enjoy it a little, Nick." Rafi says while hugging me.

I just drink my coffee. After we finish, the three of us leave the café, and I'm bored with the event. As I step out of the café, I see Verrel with his gang and his admirers. I observe that out of Verrel's gang, only two people genuinely befriend him, Aiden and Andre, the rest are hypocrites.

"Nick, isn't that your future boyfriend ? That's Verrel, right ?" Dista shouts and points towards Verrel.

Verrel and his gang notice. I'm confused and just nod. "Who's this Verrel ?" Ica asked Verrel about Ardista. "I don't know, babe, maybe she's Professor Nick's girlfriend." Verrel replies. Ardista starts to comment, "Actually, back when you were little, ummmh." Rafi covers Dista's mouth, who wanted to spoil it to Verrel and his gang. "Hey, she's not Nick's girlfriend, Dista is Rafi's girlfriend, and we're Nick's bestfriends." Rafi seems somewhat annoyed. "Ohh," they all say. "Yes, let me introduce everyone. These are my bestfriends, Professor Rafi and Doctor Ardista." I introduce the two of them to Verrel and his gang.

I can see that the situation seems awkward. "Nick, Verrel? Do you know each other?" I recognize that voice hmm yes, it's Farhan's voice.

"Farhan? Who are you to Verrel?" I reply curtly.

"Kak Nick, Farhan is my bestie and the sponsor and donor of this event." Verrel explains.

"Ohh, no wonder you already know each other. Dista, did you know all of this hmm ?" I glance at Dista.

"Umm, I don't know, Nick. It's sudden, I can't mastering read minds." Dista whispered to me.

"Hehe, sorry, Nick, I didn't tell you earlier. Don't worry, Shimmervale is safe, and your letter is ready." Farhan replies.

"Huhh, so Verrel, Farhan here is a great ambassador, and he's also an heir, a lawyer, and a notary for me." I explain to Verrel. Verrel and the others just nod in understanding.

"Kak Nick, do you want to go back to the event ?" Verrel asked me.

"You guys go ahead, guys," I told my other friends.

"Alright, Nick, we'll go ahead then," they replied.

"Rafael, Ica, and the others, we're going to the mall, they were hungry," Verrel said like that, although I knew she wanted to go on a double date with Olivia and Linden.

Only Dista, Rafi, and I knew about this situation. "Come on, Rel, let's go back to the event, the Guest Star show is going epic now," Aiden and Andre invited Verrel to return to the event.

"Kak Nick, do you want to come with us ?" Verrel offered me to join them.

I just smiled at him and hugged him. "I'll catch up with you later, Rel. There's something I need to take care of for you," I replied to Verrel, wanting to prove that Ica wasn't the right girl for him.
