Verrel’s POV,

The day had already dawned, and I saw Kak Nick still sound asleep beside me. I decided to shower first and didn't want to wake him up since he was sleeping so peacefully. Today was the day when Kak Nick and I planned to meet her ex, Ridha, and apologize for yesterday's unpleasant incident. I went ahead and took a shower. After finishing my shower, Kak Nick had woken up. I gave him a smile and lightly kissed his lips, but for some reason, he seemed more down than usual. Kak Nick looked at me and asked,

"Rel, do we really have to meet Ridha? I really don't feel like it." Kak Nick asked me.

I knew he was still annoyed and upset about yesterday's events, but I didn't want to react as I usually would. Instead, I decided to calm down my cold-hearted boyfriend.

"Ideally, I would like us to meet her, but if you're feeling this way, it's okay, Kak. I won't force you if you don't want to." I honestly answered, without pushing him like I did yesterday.

Kak Nick stroked my hair. "I'm sorry, okay ? Things got a bit awkward because of my ex. Alright, I'll take a shower now." Kak Nick finally agreed and didn't lecture me like before, which was a stark difference.

Kak Nick finally took a shower, and now it was my turn to get dressed, making sure to wear something nice. Thirty minutes later, Kak Nick finished his shower. He was now wearing casual clothes instead of his usual formal attire. Kak Nick was simply wearing a t-shirt with a cardigan and jeans. With Kak Nick's casual style, he looked cool and younger, almost the same age as me.

"Why are you staring at me like that, Rel ?" Kak Nick asked me.

"It's nothing, I just love looking at my handsome boyfriend, hehe." I hugged Kak Nick from behind.

Kak Nick turned around and kissed me as usual.

"You're such a hopeless romantic, Verrel. Oh, by the way, I already chatted with Ridha and Iqbal, and we're having breakfast together." Kak Nick said.

"Okay, let's go, Kak." I held Kak Nick's muscular hand.

Kak Nick and I headed to the hotel dining area to have breakfast and meet her ex. When we arrived at the hotel dining area, Kak Nick and I grabbed our breakfast and sat next to each other at the dining table. Despite Kak Nick being cold, I still fed him, and it turns out he can be romantic too.

"Alright, that's enough, Kak. It's embarrassing to be watched while being so sweet." I said, feeling embarrassed.

"Well, fine then. Look at you blushing, so cute." Kak Nick pinched my cheek playfully.

I squirmed at his waist. He could always make me mesmerized, damn him. Soon, Kak Nick's ex, Ridha, arrived with his new boyfriend, Iqbal. I wasn't sure if they were officially together yet, but they seemed compatible. If she wants to get back with Kak Nick, it's their business. I hope Kak Nick handles this wisely and doesn't make the wrong choice. After all, Kak Nick is my boyfriend now. He shouldn't just let anyone snatch him away like that. I kept my head down, focusing on my breakfast, while Kak Nick initiated the conversation.

"Oh, Ridha, I apologize for my behavior yesterday. I shouldn't have been looking for faults like that." Kak Nick started the conversation.

Me, Iqbal, and Ridha listened to what Kak Nick had to say. Finally, Ridha spoke up.

"Yes, Nick, I'm also sorry because, honestly, I felt jealous and wasn't ready to let you go yet." I had expected that he still had feelings for Kak Nick.

I was actually annoyed, but I tried to hold it back and spontaneously asked Ridha,"Ridha, do you still have feelings for Kak Nick ?" I asked, and everyone's gaze turned towards me.

"Verrel, shh, let me handle this, alright ? Just stay calm." Kak Nick said to me.

"Um, it's okay, Nick. I'm sorry, Rel, but as for my feelings, they're gone, so you don't have to worry." Ridha said to me.
I remained silent, unsure of how to respond or debate in this situation.

"Alright, now I'll ask you, Ridha. Do you like Iqbal, and Iqbal, do you like Ridha ?" Kak Nick asked both of them.

"I do like Nick, and I admit it," Iqbal answered, and Ridha just nodded in agreement.

"Okay, Iqbal, please make Ridha happy. If possible, take your relationship seriously. I want to see both of you happy, just like how Verrel and I are happy now. So, I believe Ridha deserves happiness, and I'm asking you, Bal, to always be there for him, alright ?" Kak Nick asked Iqbal again.

"So, you're really okay with this, Nick ? Ridha being with me? Alright, I promise to be serious about her. Thanks, Nick." Iqbal replied.

Kak Nick simply smiled. "Yes, I'm genuinely okay with it. You're my friend, Bal, and Ridha also needs someone who can make her happy, so thank you for being serious about Ridha, Bal." Kak Nick answered and fully let go of Ridha.

I felt incredibly relieved. I thought Kak Nick would still want to get back with Ridha.

"Okay, so our issues are clear now, right ? Verrel and I are fairy guardians, and there's no room for jealousy anymore." Kak Nick clarified the matter once again.

"Yes, Nick, I agree, and thank you for everything. I'm happy that everything is clear now." Ridha said again. We all continued our breakfast.

I was incredibly happy, to say the least, because I could continue being with Kak Nick. I smiled to myself and caught Kak Nick's gaze. Ah, it made me so embarrassed to be watched by him. Ridha and Iqbal eventually left, leaving only Kak Nick and me.

Nichollas's POV,

All my problems with Ridha are now resolved. I have let go of Ridha, and she has chosen to be with Iqbal. After everything was settled, I saw Verrel looking happy and smiling to himself like a madman. Silly Verrel, he must be pleased that I chose him and not Ridha.

"Why are you smiling to yourself, happy, huh, Rel? I'll protect you as my boyfriend, no need to hold back, my dear," I blurted out to Verrel.

Verrel smiled and leaned against me, almost like cuddling. It tickled my chest, but it felt good, typical Verrel.

"Oh, yes, Kak, I'm happy. I love you so much," Verrel smiled so sweetly, and I embraced him.

Verrel leaned in to kiss me, but I held back. "Later, my love, after breakfast. Our lips will smell of food if we can't contain our excitement," I kissed his forehead instead.

"Oh, yeah, Kak, I forgot. I'm just so happy," Verrel continued cuddling against my broad chest for quite some time. Even though others may notice, I don't care. Let them assume we're just like siblings, I'm not suspicious of them.
