Verrel' POV,

I have graduated from Dells High School. This is now my longest vacation before entering college. I am currently alone, and it has been a year since I last saw Kak Nick. I feel guilty for pushing him away. Kak Nick has kept his promise that he hasn't met me, approached me, or even chatted or contacted me anymore. There has been no communication. Yet, I've been stalking all his social media, and he's always online. He hasn't blocked my number, he just doesn't reach out to me like before. After graduation, I only received a gift from Kak Nick, but he only congratulated me on the greeting card and didn't say anything else. I'm confused. I want to apologize to him, but I don't know where he is. A few days ago, I visited his apartment, but there was no answer, and no one opened the door. Some cleaning staff said that Kak Nick rarely visits his apartment anymore well he goes somewhere unknown to me.

Right now, I'm on a yacht with my friends, heading to Pari Island for a vacation. I'm on the upper deck, lost in thought about Kak Nick. Pari Island is getting closer, and I can hardly wait. I see Rafael and Ica being affectionate on the deck above. I feel the urge to hit him.

"Just daydreaming, you'll get struck by lightning if you're not careful," Linden teased me.

Damn it, Andre and Aiden didn't join this trip, so I feel like a mosquito here. I finally make my way up and scold Rafael.

"Are you satisfied now, Raf ? Snatching Ica away from me, are you happy?" I hit Rafael's face, but Rafael doesn't want to back down.

"Yeah, I'm satisfied. Why don't you like it, Rel ? Are you jealous ? Where's your beloved Professor, by the way?" Rafael mocks me.

"If it weren't for the photo you shared of me and him, our relationship would've been fine, and he wouldn't have left me." I shouted now.

"Oh, so you're accusing me, damn it, you're really a Verrel Hyde who likes guys, eww, disgusting."

I immediately punch Rafael again, and he pushes me back, throwing me into the sea. I plunge into the water, and everything turns dark. I can't think or do anything anymore. I only see Kak Nick's shadow in that moment.

Nichollas' POV,

Atlantica, Fairy Topia and Mermaidia Realm......

It's been almost a year since I last saw Verrel. I'm currently on a weekend break from my duties, visiting my friend Eric in Atlantica. I'm tired of seeing Fergis and Farhan in Mermaidia; they're always fighting, so I just want to meet Eric. I confide in Eric about what has been happening to me lately with Verrel. Eric is a mermaid like Verrel and his gang always accuses me of being a mermaid.

"Well, it's a shame, Nick. If you don't pursue it, I'm sure he also feels lost. Despite how much he seems to hate you, I'm sure he'll miss you and worry about you," Eric says, always a good listener.

"Should I go back to Verrel, Rik ? I'm still unsure," I admit. I'm still uncertain.

"I think you should, Nick. You do care about him, and if you keep avoiding him, if something happens to him, how will you feel, Nick ? Water and fire are opposing elements, but if you both understand each other, I'm sure you'll find harmony," Eric explains to me.

I feel relieved and at peace now. "Thank you, Rik. You're the best, and you always understand my position. Oh, by the way, do you know where Verrel is ? Dista and Rafi was went away, so I can't ask them," I inquire, hoping Eric might have some information. Eric looks thoughtful.

"Hmm, I can locate him in the water, not on land, Nick. Let me try using telekinesis across all the waters of the Earth," Eric says, focusing his telekinetic abilities.
