Matthew walked through the house thinking about the girl claimed to be his brothers girlfriend.

He thought she was rather cute, which was rare for his brother to bring home. He thought her dark skin was beautiful and shiny and her hair, dark brown and curly, suited her so well. It was slightly messy but it didn't take away from her beauty.

How in the world his brother managed to swoon a girl like her was a mystery to him.

His brother was handsome, he could admit that, but his brother was a dead beat who lived on his parents money. Not exactly boyfriend material.

Matthew made his way near his fathers office and eventually passed it, but the sound of yelling made him stop in his tracks and go near the office door to listen in.

"You and mom are the ones who keep nagging me through Matthew to come back here visit you guys. But when I show up all you do is criticize me for my life choices!" Jacks raises his voice at his father.

"Cause all of your life choices end up affecting me and your mother. How many girls are you going to bring home and parade them around town?"

Matthew leaned against the wall and sighed quietly. It was the usual fight his father and brother had everytime they came face to face.

"I'm not doing this with you again dad. Every girl I bring isn't good enough for you, but that doesn't matter anymore. I've made my choice." Jacks voice lowers and Matthew can hear the sound of someone walking.

"What in the hell does that mean?" Their fathers voice come out in a low angry growl. Matthew can imagine the anger in his fathers eyes. The only time he has seen those eyes was when Jack was back home.

"We're getting married."

There's silence. What was anyone suppose to say about that? The rotten child getting married? And to a girl who seems too good for him.

Matthew was never more confused than in this moment. He knew something wasn't right. With the way Moune reacted to him and her quietness, he was suspicious of his brothers intentions.

"Well I'll be damned. Go and greet your mother, I have no more business with you." Matthew hears the sound of his fathers office chair assuming his father has sat down.

"Yes, Sir." Jacks says bitterly before leaving the room.

He stops suddenly when he sees Matthew standing there. Matthew doesn't even try to hide the fact that he was listening in the whole time.

"What's your problem?" Jacks scoffs walking past Matthew.

Matthew follows his brother, "Your marrying her? How long have you even known this girl?"

"That doesn't matter. How long were you being a creep and listening in on a private conversation?"

"Long enough to figure out just how insane you are. Marriage? Really Jack?" Matthew puts his hands on his hips while following to further show his disappointment in his younger brother.

"I don't wanna hear it from you." Jacks continues walking away from Matthew, Heading towards his and Mounes rooms.

Matthew grabs his brothers arm stopping him from walking any closer to the rooms. He was suspicious of the whole situation and for some reason thought it would be better if he kept Jack away from Moune.

"What the hell is going on Jack? You kept saying "we" on the phone and I tried my best to give you the benefit of the doubt, but then of course you pull something like this. When are you going to grow up?" Matthew narrows his eyes at his brother but can't bring himself to really show his anger. In his eyes Jack was still. Just his baby brother.
