"You have returned, dear Brother," Ereshkigal welcomed her dear brother who just came from the continent of Althera. She felt his presence in the hall.

A figure emerged, commanding an aura of fear and awe. He was none other than Void Akame, a man whose very name sent shivers down the spines of all who crossed his path. In the realm of darkness and shadows, he walked the harrowing path of death, leaving a trail of obliteration in his wake.

Void Akame was a formidable presence, his appearance embodying the essence of his feared reputation. With jet-black hair cascading down his back and eyes of crimson red, his piercing gaze held the weight of countless lives he had encountered and extinguished. As an Asmodian, a race known for its striking features and formidable abilities, he stood as a testament to their inherent power.

"How's Tasosir?" Ereshkigal became serious.

Void Akame kneeled and bowed in front of her, a sign of respect to his Captain.

"He escaped."

Ereshkigal's eyes narrowed, a mix of concern and anticipation flickering within them. The thief's actions and motives remained a mystery, his presence a constant threat to their world. She knew that her brother's encounter with him was not to be taken lightly.

"Keep a vigilant eye, Void," Ereshkigal commanded, her voice tinged with authority. "That man's escape means he is still at large, weaving his web of schemes. Find him, track him down, and bring him to justice. Our realm cannot afford to have such a man roaming freely."

"The King and I made a deal. However, the letter I received on my way back says they haven't found anyone with the sword. The thief managed to sail back to Arcadia in the middle of battle."

Her voice carried a hint of frustration tinged with concern as she responded, "A deal with the King should have ensured his capture. How could he have managed to elude their grasp and return here unnoticed?"

Void's face hardened, his gaze fixed on the distance as he contemplated the implications of this unexpected turn of events. The fact that the man with the Black Summer had slipped through their fingers only intensified his determination to apprehend him.

"I suspect there may be a traitor in the Western Association," Void finally spoke, his voice laced with a mix of anger and resolve. "Someone who has aided his escape and is working against our efforts to bring him to justice."

"We must tread carefully," Ereshkigal cautioned, her voice filled with a sense of urgency. "Gather information discreetly, and uncover the truth behind this betrayal. We cannot afford to underestimate the extent of his influence or the danger he poses to this Empire."

Void's jaw tightened. "I will dig deeper, Captain. I will uncover the traitor's identity and ensure that justice is served. No stone shall be left unturned."

That's right. No stone...shall be left unturned.

"Are you sure you'll be fine here onwards?"

"I will be fine," spoke the Informant.

Nasa liblib na lugar ang buong ship. They haven't reached the border control of Arcadia and the Informant wishes to be left in nowhere. It was so that they wouldn't be detected for anything unordinary.

"Take care," Himeko says. It was only Lisandrei and her that were awake at that moment. The rest of the crew were sleeping.

Nasa kamay ng Informant and sandata ngayon. Himeko returned it to his hands. It was his possession in the first place.

"Then, I hope I never see your faces again."

The Informant disappeared as he jumped down the flying ship.

Lisandrei and Himeko looked at each other, both wearing tired and sleepy looks.

As they exchanged tired glances, Lisandrei let out a yawn, rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand. The weariness of their journey was evident on their faces, but they knew they couldn't afford to rest just yet. The mission was far from over, and they still had a long way to go before reaching their destination.

"Get some sleep, Lisandrei," Himeko suggested, her voice filled with a mix of concern and exhaustion. "We'll need our strength when we reach Arcadia."

They have a lot to report to Lady West.

Lisandrei nodded, his eyelids heavy with fatigue. "You're right. I'll take a short rest before we arrive. Wake me up if anything happens—"

"Are you two done now?"

"I came out to smoke," says the navigator. Dala-dala nito ang pipe sa kaliwa at isang dried na dahon sa kanan. "You two should sleep," sabay alis ni Saul at umakyat ng top deck.

"He's good at hiding his presence," Lisandrei whispered. Himeko's eyes looked up to the top deck. Hindi niya rin napansin ang presensiya ni Saul. Hindi niya naramdaman ang paglapit nito sa kanila.

"Go to sleep Lisandrei. I'll keep watch," says Himeko. She smiled softly, her fatigue momentarily overshadowed by her determination. Kahit na pagod na pagod, kaya paring maging gising para lang bantayan ang buong ship.

With that reassurance, Lisandrei got back down the ship to sleep.

Himeko remained awake, her gaze fixed on the endless expanse of the sky. Thoughts swirled in her mind, contemplating the events that had led them to this point. The Informant's departure had left a lingering sense of uncertainty, but she knew they had to continue their journey without him.

As the ship sailed on, Himeko's thoughts turned to the challenges that lay ahead. Arcadia, with its formidable border control and intricate political landscape, how would the Fang escape its eyes?
