Chapter 9: See Through Danger

"Sometimes, Danger might save your life."

As they go in the portal, They go into a glass maze that can see through anything. They see buttons at each side of the maze. Darren tries to get the button at the left side of the see-through maze.

Darren shouts "I FOUND THE BUTTON! SHOULD I TAP IT??"

Noah loudly replies "SURE! YOU SHOULD"

Darren taps the button and nothing happens. But when they don't realize, The vision of Darren completely blurs out of sight. Although, You can still hear them. Noah sees a tall brown figure standing at Noah's way. Noah tells Darren about it and goes to him to see it. Darren finds Noah and also finds the same brown figure.

Darren says "I also see it"

They hear a cracking glass noise coming from the maze that they were in. They decided to split up to check the noise. Noah finds pieces of cracked glass on the floor at the exact same place the tall brown figure was in. As he touches one piece of glass, He hears Darren scream and decides to find him. Noah finds him staring at the tall brown figure and he sees the scratch on Darren's arm.

Noah asks "ARE YOU OK?"

Darren's replies "IM GOOD BUT LETS PROBABLY RUN"

The figure seems to be a bear. They try to find the exit for this place and finds a door. They go through the door and seems to lock the door. The place behind the door is another glass maze but the glass is mirrors. As they go in this horrific mirror maze, They hear a big thud at the door they were in. Darren realizes and

Darren tells "The bear destroyed the door i think, RUN!"

After Darren says that, They run not knowing that they actually splitted up. Noah gets to see the bear running to him and he looks to his back to see himself as a child and bruised with mirror shards. He is shocked so he looks back to see the bear is close to him. As he runs, He sees Darren running and he bumps to a mirror and bumps to another. He sees Darren's running body fade as he gets farther and farther.

Noah yells "DARREN!"

He finds that Darren walks back and he sees Noah. Darren points to Noah's back. Noah sees that he points to his back and as he looks to his back, He sees that the bear is right behind him and he is cornered. He gets stabbed and Darren sees Noah fading. As Noah gets stabbed, He finds a doorknob and opens it revealing a portal like world and he goes in. He finds a camera revealing Darren's perspective.

DARREN'S PERSPECTIVE:

After Darren sees Noah's stabbed body fade, He finds the destroyed door that the bear ruined. He goes in and remembers what happens if he tapped the four buttons at the room. He goes to find the three left buttons since he already pressed the first button. He finds the second button right near the door so he presses it revealing the glass gets more blurred. He looks for the last 2 buttons. He finds the third one at the same time the bear goes to the room with Darren inside. He tries to find the last button with the bear not finding him. He wonders if Noah is still alive not knowing the bear is behind him chasing him. He finds that the bear is chasing him so he runs also trying to find the remaining button here. He finds the last one and presses it. A metal piece hits him at the back as he looks to find the bear exploded and a portal showing Noah looking at him at the camera. He goes in the portal and finally finding Noah.

END OF DARREN'S PERSPECTIVE

Darren is relieved that Noah didnt die. They hug. They are in a room with a lot of portals. They find a populated place on one portal and decides to go in it.

A/N: 680 WORDS !!! EXCLUDING THE A/N. So basically this chapter was inspired by a dream i once had a week ago ^^ so hope u enjoy the next chapters ^^.
