Chapter 19: Advanced Takeover

"Don't always look up to your future."

Mae sees an eye and goes unconscious so their friends carry her to the portal. They enter a robotic world and Mae goes conscious.

Ali says "You okay, Mae?? Why'd you go unconscious??"

Mae asks "What? I got unconscious?"

Noah says "Don't you remember but its fine."

The world is so robotic that everything that you see on the world is full of advanced technology like Flying Cars, Automatic Food Maker and etc. They adventure the weird and futuristic place and the world exactly looks like their old world but is more advanced.

Nate says "Why does this world look exactly like our place?"

Miri replies "This is just a theory but i think this is the future of our reality."

Caleb says "Reality? You mean world?"

Miri responds "Yeah."

As they explore this place, Mae's condition starts to get weirder and weirder. Her hands start to look like that they are fading. Mae's mood start to get rude and she stays quiet the whole time.

Noah asks "Mae?? Why are your hands fading??"

Mae replies "Shut up."

The group start to get even more confused on what is happening to Mae right now. They eventually get to their first ever obstacle on this dimension. The voice randomly appears right they step at the first part of their challenge. "The first ever challenge will appear now which is called Laser Escaping and obviously you need to escape the lasers coming behind you. You may begin NOW!" Mae gets there first with here unexpected amazing skill that randomly appears. All of them eventually get there. Mae touches Nate and Nate turns into an avatar that is made of Artificial Intelligence or A.I with Mae. Everyone is shocked of what happened to the two of them.

Nate says "WHAT HAPPENED TO ME? MAE, BRING ME BACK RIGHT NOW!"

Mae says "You better not anger me or taste my aggressiveness."

Caleb says "Aww, Is Little Mae hitting puberty or what?"

They eventually encounter their second adventure which is jumping on flying cars. The voice comes back "GET READY. GO!!"
They jump on flying cars and it seems like that they are having fun. ETA by New Jeans start playing as they jump on flying cars. It may seem dangerous but for them, They seem fine about the challenge and they pass the jumping exercise very easily. Instead touching Nate again, She touches Miri and Miri goes into an untouchable person.

Miri says "I cant even touch people. How can i receive hugs now MAE?

Mae says "Only AI avatars can touch us."

They go to their last ever challenge on this futuristic world. The voice says "The last challenge will be a fight with the robots but the ones who got touched by Mae are only allowed to fight so the ones who haven't been touched, You can go."

Caleb says "Why am i still here?"

Mae says "I will touch you."

Mae touches Caleb and he turns into an untouchable person with Mae, Nate and Miri. The voice says "START NOW!"

Caleb says "Ill get you back after this."

Mae, Nate, Miri and Caleb fight the robots as their other friends watch them battle to the death. They eventually overpower the robots which leaves the Robot Team to defeat. The timer of turning back to a person has only a minute left so they wait for it to end but one thing happened. Caleb tries to push Mae off a building so both Caleb and Mae fight while waiting.

Noah shouts "STOP GUYS! THERE IS ONLY 10 SECONDS LEFT!"

Mae might overpower Caleb by Caleb manages to push her off the building and the timer hits zero. Mae manages to die since she turned back into a person.

Ali says "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?!?!"

Caleb responds "I... don't know. I dont know what has gotten into me."

Caleb starts to tear up but all of them comfort him. The portal eventually opens and they go in leaving Mae stuck on the futuristic dimension alone.
