Chapter 12: Fixin' My Time

"Time is important"

As they enter the portal, They see Noah's room. Both of them go outside wondering if they actually escaped but all they see is a person paused before getting hit by a van. Ali notices that the person is Ali's dad and remembers how he died. They put the dad out of the truck's way and suddenly, The world is unpaused and Ali's dad is saved.

Ali says "We just saved my dad...."

Ali seems sad about it but they get teleported to another situation where 2 people are walking but one of them will get hit by a flying air condition. Noah notices that its his sister that will get hit so they put them back out of the falling air condition. The time is uncaused but the air condition exploded with a large and long metal piece hitting Noah's sister and her friend which slices their torso meaning that they still died. They failed saving them so they got a strike.

Noah says "Whats gonna happen if we get 3 strikes?"

Ali says "Probably gonna die?"

Noah responds "Well, Lets not kill people and try to atleast get them saved by an unknown special duo!!"

Ali agrees so they move on to the next situation. It seems they need to save 10 situations but they already failed one. They move on to a plane crash where Ali's grandparents were on. Both of them doesn't know what caused the plane to crash so they investigate. They encounter an engine that has been damaged.

Ali says "We should replace this!"

Noah replies "Sure! I see a nearby engine for replacement!"

Noah replaces the old engine with the new one and the plane doesn't crash. Nextly, They encounter Noah's cousin about to drown to death. Noah finds that the floatie that his cousin had was actually deflated and it was sabotaged my his other cousin so he takes the floatie and pumps it so it gets inflated. He replaces it while Ali is just watching him knowing that Noah has a good heart. They move on to 4 situations and pass them with ease.

Noah says happily "ONLY TWO LEFT!!"

Ali says "WE SHOULD GET THE LAST ONE!"

Noah agrees so they move on. They see Ali in the distance seeing a truck explode and a part of the truck that is gonna hit Ali. Noah moves him out of the way and the time unpauses.

Ali says "Wait a minute.... When i got this encounter with death, I actually survived this."

After Ali says that, Ali doesnt get hit by the part but a flying wheel decapitates him leaving him dead. Noah realized that he should've not move Ali out of the was because he still survived even when he got hit. They move on knowing that if they fail the next one, They die permanently.

They see Noah almost hitting the portal toy which caused everything that happened previously. They don't do anything and the time eventually unpauses waiting if they saved themselves or made them die. Noah hits the portal and before they can see what happens, They teleport into a new dimension. It seems like they passed.

Ali says "WE DID IT!!!"

Noah happily says "YEA!! WE ESCAPEDD!!!!"

They move on to this subway but this subway isn't her normal as it seems right now.......
