Chapter 18: Lurking In The Sea

"Snitches get stitches"

They enter the portal leaving Nick's lifeless body. All of them enter a world which the ground is only a substance that looks like water but the water can cause death. The water clone is called "Lakic" and beneath the dangerous water clone is a hidden monster which is mostly called the "Sqrauko."

Miri says "Is there a challenge gonna happen here?"

Ali says "I don't even know but-"

The watery ground shakes as Ali was speaking and it caused the friend group to be in total shock.

Noah says "WHAT WAS THAT?!?!?"

Daviana says "I DONT KNOWW. SOMEONE GO FIND WHATS CAUSING THIS!"

Caleb calmly says "Since all of you scaredy-cats don't wanna go and find it, then I WILL GO."

Mae says "IM GOING WITH YOU!"

Caleb pushes Mae causing her to fall but she feels burns tormenting her body when she fell.

Nate says "U ok?"

Mae says "I can feel a bad burning sensation all over my body and it hurts really bad."

Caleb shouts "THATS WHAT LOSERS GET!"

The ground shakes again but the monster finally revealed itself and Sqrauko grabs Caleb trapping him. All of them run away from the monster leaving Caleb in the open with the monster. The monster sinks down and grabs Mae and Ali trapping them both. Sqrauko eventually gets all the members of the friend group. A voice suddenly gets heard "Seems like you have found my pet. Have fun with him by firstly making a duo but only 1 person is safe. Each member of the duo must vote on who to kill for Sqrauko's lunch but the only safe person gets to hear one duo's vote. Goodluck and make my pet happy. Duo-deciding and voting starts in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 GO!"

Ali says "Who will be the safe person?"

Mae says "I WILL BE SAFE FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS!"

Caleb says "You sure? Im more valuable so keep me safe."

Each member vote for themselves except for Daviana.

Ali says "Daviana, Why didn't you vote for yourself?"

Daviana says "I feel like im valuable so i should be staying."

The voice comes back "TIME TO VOTE FOR THE SAFE PERSON!"
All of them vote for Daviana except for Mae because she voted herself and that's also the case with Caleb. The voice comes echoing back "DAVIANA IS THE SAFE PERSON. GET YOUR DUO!"
They all choose their old duo partner but this time, Nate and Caleb  are partners. "TIME FOR VOTING! DAVIANA, YOU MAY PICK YOUR DUO TO HEAR THEIR VOTE" The voice says

Daviana says "I will be picking Mae and Noah"

After she says that, The voting begins but Daviana starts finding letters corresponding the letters E, T, I, R, S ,N, H, and C. Finally, Mae's duo is now voting starts.

Mae says "Noah, Vote Ali."

Noah says "Why Ali?? We should vote Caleb instead."

Mae says "Eliminate the competition is better than revenge."

Noah says "WHAT?!?!? NO! WHY WOULD WE DO THAT"

Mae says "Ali wouldn't know. JUST VOTE ALI."

Little did Mae know, She forgot that Daviana can also hear. The results comes and the voice tells them that "The dying player will be-"

Daviana shouts "STOP! MAE WANTS TO VOTE ALI!"

Everyone is in shock but are they?

Ali says "I already knew it."

Daviana says "WHAT?!?"

Ali says "The voice told us to see if you (Daviana) snitched because of some sort of betrayal. The voice putted out the letters that you found and the word corresponding is "SNITCHER." Guess snitches get STITCHES."

Daviana confusedly asks "WHAT? NO! I DONT WANNA DIE!! HOW?"

Sqrauko grabs Daviana and both of them go sinking down the poisonous water which makes Daviana drown and be burnt by the tremendous water and also leaving her dead body gone.

Mae says "Glad we got rid of that snitch. But what was the purpose of it though."

Ali says "SO WE HAVE NO SNITCH ON OUR FRIEND GROUP."

The portal randomly opens which makes the group scared for a second. Mae sees an eye popping out of the foggy sky and goes unconscious which brings the group to shock so they carry her to the portal.
