First Meeting | | Scenarios

I would be lying if I said that this whole rewrite didn't have a bit of underlying insecurity with it but whatever. Ive stated it time and time again how I can make these super easily and without effort and looking back on my past statements it made me feel like I didn't care what I gave you all which isn't true and Im here to make that up to everyone. So I hope you'll enjoy this rewrite Im giving you<33 

SUNNY 

"I want you to meet someone! I think you'll both get along well." That was all you got from Kel that morning before being dragged off to who knows where. It wasn't anything surprising at this point it was just how Kel was so you went with it. ...What if he ends up getting you kil- uh actually never mind. You had arrived at a house, one that you didn't particularly recognize but, Kel took no time in knocking on the door. "Are you sure this person is home?" You asked nervously, hoping maybe you could go back home. "Of course I am! I wouldn't have made you come over here for nothing!" He sounded sure of himself so you did your best to trust him. And sure enough Kel wouldn't be wrong as a boy with black hair and pale skin would open the door. His face was void of emotion. You smiled a bit and waved at him quietly unsure if he was going to say anything. "Who's this, Kel?" You asked breaking the awkward silence. "This is Sunny! He's a bit quiet but Im sure you'll get along." You don't exactly know how it happened but you all ended up in Sunny's house with Kel leading most of the conversation as you and Sunny stared at each other awkwardly. Well you did at least. 

MARI 

You were just wandering around when you caught sight of a girl with a picnic basket. While there wasn't anything wrong with that it was strange to see someone having a picnic alone, shouldn't they have it with friends? "Uh, do you mind if I join you?" You asked not wanting to leave someone completely alone if they didn't mind your company. "Sure!" The girl was nice offering you multiple different things some you had no clue could fit in a picnic basket but it tasted good so you didn't quite question it. "What's your name? Mines Y/n." You asked trying to spark up a conversation. "Mari, what are you doing around here?" Mari asked back. "I could ask you the same thing! I was just bored, so I felt like exploring. But...why are you here alone?" You asked the question that had been on your mind since you first saw Mari. "Im just waiting for my brother and his friends to come along." It made you a bit surprised, you had eaten so much...isn't that bad if she's expecting more people? "Im sorry, I can leave if you want I didn't know you had friends coming..." You offered feeling the guilt pierce at you, you found yourself losing your appetite. "No it's fine, it gets kind of lonely waiting for them to come back." Mari's words reassured you a slight bit.

BASIL 

You had been enjoying some time to yourself on a bench at the park close to your house when you spotted Aubrey and her group of friends beating up someone again. You wanted to interject but at the same time you were scared, I mean...there were so many people and Aubrey had a bat with literal nails put into it! What good were you going to do? You debated calling for an adult but after countless times you realized that it wouldn't really fix the situation so you sat there helpless. Once they had left you made your way over to the most recent victim. "Hey are you alright?" You bent down to their height making your voice calm and soft to try and keep the situation under control. "Yeah...Im fine." The person spoke, they didn't seem fine but you didn't want to pressure them after what they just experienced. "Are you hurt anywhere?" You asked, trying to see if you could find any yourself. "I'll be fine." You wanted to help but at the same time you didn't want to insert yourself into a situation where you weren't needed. "I'm uh Y/n. If you need anything I usual come here and sit on that bench over there." You said pointing in the direction you came from. "...I'm Basil." Thats all you got before you left for home wanting to get away from the area hoping to keep your mind off things.

AUBREY 

While you didn't show up to the church that often you came by enough to hear about how a new girl had come by and the fact that she was practically being shunned by everyone else. "Are you uh alright?" You asked waiting for her to offer you a seat. "Yeah." You could tell by the way it sounded like she'd been crying but you didn't know her, so how is it your business. "I can leave if you want." You offered not wanting to invade her space. "No it's fine." She stated. That was the only real interaction you got only after she ended up leaving did people tell you over and over that "Aubrey was bad news." and "Stay away from that girl". Was that Aubrey? And why would you need to do so? She just seemed like a girl who needed friends is all. 

HERO

You had heard about Hero multiple times through Kel but you never actually ended up meeting him in person. And eventually Kel got the 3 of you to meet up at a restaurant to get some food. "Your Hero, right? Kel has said a lot about you..." You said as you meet up with them. You could see some slight resemblance to them both but still there was definitely quite a few differences. You all engaged in some light conversation getting better aquatinted with Hero in the process. After insisting you pay for everyones meal (Kel had forgotten his money of course...) you agreed to meet up sometime again reiterating that you had fun. 

KEL 

You had been watching someone play basketball on the court they had in the park. He had been getting quite a few goals in and you found that to be pretty impressive in itself, maybe it was really bad you weren't really sure with your limited knowledge of basketball. (I know about nothing about the sport :)) ). "You're pretty good at that, y'know?" You told the guy afterwards offering a few more compliments. "Of course I am!" He exclaimed. "Who are you anyways? You seem familiar..." You knew you had seen this face before but you weren't quite sure. "Im Kel. Aren't you Y/n from school?" How did he- wait...Kel! You knew you had seen this guy somewhere. "Yeah thats me, well that's all I had to say so I'll be on my way now." You waved goodbye cutting the interaction short. 

POLLY 

You were helping Basil get home after being harassed by Aubrey and her friends despite Basil constantly reassuring you that he was fine you wanted to offer him some help. "I promise I'm fine Y/n!" Basil gave up only seconds later when he realized you weren't about to back down. You let Basil open the door when a women with brown hair and matching brown eyes greeted you both. "Welcome home, Basil! Who's this?" She asked, a smile adorning her face. "I'm Y/n. Im just trying to help him get home without trouble this time around." You told her, letting you introduce yourself. "Thank you for taking care of Basil for me. Im working as his and his grandmother's caretaker for right now." Polly seemed nice, I was happy that Basil had someone like this to be taking care of him. "Would you like to join us for lunch? I'm trying out some new recipes and maybe you'd like to some?" She offered, I didn't have any real plans after this so... why not? "Sure I'd love to join you!"

KIM 

"H-Hey! That was mine!" In a mere minutes of just getting some simple candy and someone has to come and steal it!? You wouldn't have been so upset if they had just asked. But still! If they wanted it so badly you could have just went back in and bought them some. The store clerk walked out the store "That was Kim and Vance I seriously wouldn't expect to get anything back anytime soon." You weren't sure how to feel, why did they have to steal it? If you ever encounter them again maybe you should try and make peace and give them some without them having to steal it? Oh well...
