You end up becoming friends! How long did it take?
SUNNY
It's going to take a long long time before you'll become friends. And it doesn't really help when Sunny isn't particularly social...but it'll happen! Just trust the process. Overtime he'll talk to you bit by bit and you'll be able to have a proper conversation accompanied by having Kel's help you'll get there!
MARI
I don't find it particularly hard or anything to become friends with Mari. Will it take some time? Sure but not like Sunny. Mari I find to be pretty talkative as well as social so you'll be able to get there faster on that front. And eventually Mari might suggest that you hang out more often!
BASIL
Basil is pretty shy, I wouldn't call him antisocial particularly but don't expect him to talk to you all the time. It'll help with the fact that you're helping him with the bullying he's experiencing but that only gets so far. But still similarly to Sunny as long as your patient you'll get there!
AUBREY
Aubrey to me is arguably one that is going to take the most time. I wouldn't be surprised after she felt her old friends 'betrayed' her that making new ones isn't going to be easy. But once you spend enough time together and make it so she trusts you Aubrey will start to consider you a friend although even then don't be surprised if Aubrey can be a bit standoffish at times.
HERO
Hero to me is in the middle but it really just depends on the effort you're willing to put into it. Hero is pretty busy with college, which is pretty understandable. And with that in mind I find it make take some extra time but as I said before all you need is some extra effort and you'll get there.
KEL
Kel to me literally considers just about everyone his friend, and even then I feel like he was the kid who just could make friends with literally everyone. (according to my family thats me but idk). But he does understand that you might not feel the same way but uh it'll happen eventually.
POLLY
Polly already felt positively about you from the start so it won't take too long. On top of that it's clear you enjoy her company and can take care of Basil so that contributes. Along with that you've already been invited to dinner a few times...so uh yeah.
KIM
You weren't sure how you felt about Kim, and you weren't sure how she felt about you either. But for whatever reason after a couple of random encounters you slowly but surely got closer and despite the...interesting first encounter it didn't seem to matter that much after awhile.
