DAISY: (night of attack)
The princess were loudly proclaiming their love for one another... it was sweet but a bit too vulgar for my ears. I went to fetch water nearby. I stared at the night moonlight sky in the tall grass for a moment by the small stream. How nice it must be to abandon everything in the name of love... How it must feel to be loved so deeply by one so much...My thoughts eluded me as I heard screams and the smell of fires.

"Princess!" I thought in a panic. I drop the water and run back towards the barn. I stop halfway there to see it set ablaze and surrounded by guards!

"I must get to the princess! I thought as I tried to run for the barn. Suddenly a hand grabbed hold of my mouth and waist and pulled me in. I tried to scream but it came out muffled. Fighting was useless as they were too strong. We ducked down in the tall grass and they spun me around. To my surprise it was Ludith!

"Hush..." he whispered.

"Ludith! What on earth!" I protest. He points to the burning barn.

"It's Sir Rodrick! He has Ardith tied up on the back of his horse! And he's fighting to the death with Miss Jade!" He warned.

I turned back to the barn horrified "The gods!..." I whispered.

"Come this way! We must find out what's happening!" Said Ludith as he led the way through the tall grass to a better view. We finally settled in a spot near Edna who was being held by guards! We watched in horror as Diamond stumbled out of the burning house to stop the fighting. How Miss Jade had tried to attack Sir Rodrick when his back was turned, and how he ultimately managed to dodge her attack and counter her with a swift blow to the gut. I covered
My mouth to silence my screams of horror as we both watched her collapse and start bleeding profusely. Sir Rodrick nearly kills hers but is stopped by Miss Diamond. He ties up Edna and Diamond and rides off for the kingdom. We wait until the horses ride off in the distance and rush out to help Miss Jade.

"Jade!" I cry out in a panic as me and Ludith rush by her side. She was losing too much blood...

"Ludith what do we do!?" I cried out in a panic!

"We must stop the bleeding! She'll never make it to the town nearby at this rate!" He says. He looks around to find a piece of metal, he picks up Jade's sword and puts it in the nearby fire.

"When I say remove her hand from the wound!" He ordered. I nodded my head in agreement.

After a few moments, the sword glowed hot red and yellow from the fire, I wasn't sure what he meant to do with it but I trusted his judgment. He picked it up and moved it toward Jade. We both looked at each other for a moment and nodded in agreement.

"Now!" He yelled. I moved Jade's hand and he played the hot sword on the wound. She jolted in pain and let out a terrible scream.

"Keep her still! And quiet!" Commanded Ludith

I hold her down with both arms and stuff the end of my gown in her mouth. Ludith keeps it on for a second more but Jade passes out from the pain. The smell of hot blood was even more unpleasant than I imagined.

"Will that be enough?" I asked him. He shakes his head unsure.

"I'm not sure... We must get her to the town, quickly!" He says.

We both carry her to his horse hidden nearby. All three of us couldn't fit so I had him show me the direction and he took off with her in the night. Rodrick had spooked the other horse so I ran after them for as far as I could and walked the rest of the way to the town.

LUDITH: (on the horse with Jade)

I rode as fast as I could trying not to re-open her wound, she lost a lot of blood and looked pale as a ghost.
