ARDITH: I rode as fast as the wind and my horse could take me! I had to get back to them... I had to get back to my love... I mustn't think like that... he will be fine! And so will the others.

I halt the horse as I see a burning bunch of branches blocking my path.

"I don't have time for this!" I shout as I dismount the horse. Just as I take a quicker peek to see the damage, armored men jump out from the path, swords drawn.

I put my hands up and turned around to see Sir Rodrick.

"Well hello, my friend" he taunted as he dragged his sword towards me.

JADE: Diamond and I fell asleep beautifully in each other's arms. Edie came knocking on the door,

"Miss?... Ludith hasn't returned yet but all is well here" she whispered and giggled at the sight of Diamond sleeping in my arms.

"Thank you" I mouthed as she bowed her head bashfully and exited the door.

I stared at her peaceful sleeping, the moonlight shining slightly on her face made me feel so peaceful inside. A kind of peace that can only be found in one's true love. I let out a sigh of relief only to be disturbed by shouting coming from outside. I slowly placed Diamond beside me threw on some clothes and went outside to check on the noise

Diamond: I slept peacefully having the most wonderful dream, it was me and Jade frolicking in a bed of white baby's breath. We'd get tired and just fall down next to each other and stare into each other's eyes. Before I could see what happened next in my dream, I was awoken by the smell of smoke and the sounds of clanking metal and screams of terror. I jolt up in a panic with Jade gone. Had my father's army found us? I throw on my clothes and race out the barn door to see a circle of small guards surrounding the barn, burning it to the ground.

"There she is!" One of them shouts.

I see a strange man fighting to the death with Jade! Edie was horrified shouting for them to stop while being held by some guards. Ludith was nowhere to be found, nor was Daisy. I looked around some more to see Ardith bound and gagged! Tossed on the back of a horse. Jade and the man were still fighting but she looked so exhausted. Her face had dirt, sweat, and a bit of blood on it. Everything was chaotic and burning and I could tell Jade was struggling.

"Stop!" I yelled. They both stopped and looked at me.

"My Princess," he said dropping his sword by his side.

As soon as I saw his face I knew it was Sir Rodrick. My heart sank as he stood before me smiling a devilish grin. Without warning Jade mustered up whatever she had left in her and took a big swing at Rodrick

"Jade No!" I screamed. But it was too late. He dodges her swing and stabs her swiftly in the gut. I fall to my knees in horror as she drops her sword. Rodrick pulls out his sword and wipes the blood off in disgust. Jade clutches her wound as blood spills out and she tries to reach out for me. She falls to the ground breathing heavily. Edie cries out and tries to get to her but is still held back by guards. Sir Rodrick faces her in anger and lifts his sword to deliver the final blow.

"WAIT! Sir Rodrick Please!" I beg. He turns towards me smiling.

"Princesses I'm so sorry, nearly forgot you were there....it is improper to kill in front of a princess so I shall leave her for now" he smiled.

Tears roll down my face as he walks up to me. "Shhh. Don't cry princess, you are saved! Your father has ordered me to bring you and your maid back to the kingdom for our wedding" he said as he wiped my face with his brutish hands.
