"Y/n...you forgot the sugar." You froze before realising you've forgotten.
"You know you could've told me sooner." You turned to Lo'ak, this was your first date together. He asked you out and decided to make cookies, because he said they reminded him of you.
"I tried, but you had already had them in the oven when I realised." He held the sugar jar. "Do you think it'll be ok?"
"Yeah, I'm sure." You took the cookies out. "Let's try them." You cooled them down and gave one to Lo'ak. "Three...two...one!" You both took a bite.
"Mmm, it's...very nice." Lo'ak had a smile.
"Oh...yeah, even without the...sugar." You grinned back. You two stared at eachother, still eating. Until you couldn't take it anymore. You both spat it all out into the bin.
"Oh god that was horrible!"
"So bitter. We can give those cookies to the others. We definitely need- hiccup!" Lo'ak shut his mouth quickly.
"Lo'ak, you got hiccups!" You teased.
"No I- hiccup- don't!"
"Liar. But I can help you; ironically, sugar helps." You got a spoonful out of the jar. "Open."
You gave him the sugar. He ate it and smiled. "Hey, I think it worked!" He still had sugar on his lips, your face turned bright red.
"Lo'ak, you have some sugar on your mouth." You came close to his face. "Let me help you wipe it off." Your faces came even closer, you both felt hot. "Sorry, I didn't mean to be so close."
"Don't be sorry, I kinda like it like this." Lo'ak brought his hand to your face. "Wanna taste?"
"What?"
"You heard me." Lo'ak brought his lips to yours, interlocking eachother slowly, you wrapped your arms around eachother, before letting go. "Wanna try again with the sugar this time?"
"Yeah." You licked your lips. "You taste quite sweet."
"Could say the same about you." You started to make another batch. After they were done, you took them out the oven and cooled them.
