Loud music was playing thru out the bowling alley thanks to kory. She happily skips her way to be seated next to dick at the booth as gar,Connor,Rachel and tim bowl
It was currently Rachels turn, she stands back doing a little bowling pose and shoots the ball knocking down all the pins
"How" gar shouted stunned "every time" Conner shook his head with a smile,Rachel smirked and does a little dance before turning around and high fiving Tim
Kory chuckles at the teens as she sits down next to dick. "I can't believe it" Kory said taking a sip from her milkshake "I know right she doesn't seem like the bowling type but she's beating Connor " dick responded impressed with Rachel
Kory chuckles as she picked up her milkshake "no not that"
"A few days ago I didn't think we were gonna make it...and now here we're goofing off in a bowling ally" she said to dick as she's playing her straw
"It was all luck" dick responded "is that that what it was just luck" Kory shrugged her shoulder towards him "plus skill, strength,courage and team work and brains...but yea mostly luck" dick chuckles to himself and Kory
"OKAY!" Connor clapped his hand as he knocked all the pins down "wooooo" Kory shouted for him and dick clapped "he finally made one" Kory chuckles
"You see that" connors tells Rachel as she playfully roles her eyes at him and high fives him
Dick chuckles at kore then stares at her for a few seconds before saying "You seem different"
"Yea?" Korey responded, he nods "yeah I feel different" she pauses for a second "I feel...I feel free" she shakes her head smiling "like I just paid off a debt..or quit a job I hate"
"Like your life is ur own" dick said "yeah or maybe mine for the first time" Kory responded "since I've met you how many different destiny's have I had... I don't know 4" her and dick chuckle "well let's see" dick said counting on his fingers "there's Rachel,save tameran um... kill a bunch of other people" Kory chuckles at dick
"Save Gotham , take care of ur sister um am I forgetting one" dick asked "survive the RV" Kory said they both chuckle
"Well right now my own destiny is bowling alley pizza and a bad night sleep me I'm still good with that" Kory told dick as they both stared ahead at the teens
"What about you" she asked dick "im just glad we're all here together" Kory smiles at him and leans into his shoulder
"Wait one sec" Tim calls out as his phone rings
"Woah" gar shouts as Connor throws him a big ass bowling ball like it was nothing
He catches it but drops to his knees as does the ball "not everyone can catch a bowling ball like ur catching a piece of paper" gar said playfully glaring at Connor , dick phone rings making him get up from the both that him and Kory were at to take it
