3RD PERSON POV
"Hey can you take a picture for me" Tim asked Connor "sure" Connor replied, Tim handed him his phone and grabbed the bow staff that Bernard made and started posing with it.
"Is this for like a profile or something" gar asked as he a rachel was sitting beside each other leaning back against the couch.
"No you guys know Bernard made this for me so I just wanna say thank you" Tim told them and continued posing. "Yea right thank you" Rachel looked down at her lap and snickered.
As Rachel kept playfully making fun of Tim Gar notice Amari sitting far away from everyone looking out the window. Gar got up and decided to go check on him.
"Hey" Gar smiled at him as he sat down next to him on the small couch. "Hey Amari said looking behind him "I uh...notice you kinda sitting far from everyone so I just wanted to come make sure ur ok"
Amari smiled at gar . "Im alright I guess" he shrugged "it's just um something happen when we were at star labs and I just I don't know I feel weird"
"What happen... if you don't mind me asking you don't have to tell me if you don't want to I was just...." Gar gets cut off by Amari "no it's fine"
"Um well I guess basically I was told I possess a certain type of magic something that um there systems never seen so Kory asked Rachel to see if she can figure out what can of magic I posses but In the means of doing that Rachel saw everything, everything I been thru and I freaked out and couldn't control my powers and I accidentally just lost control"
"And now I feel like Kory and Rachel are scared of me and on top that knowing that Rachel knows everything i been thru is...it's just weird"
"I never told anyone what I went thru besides Bruce and even then I still left a lot of stuff out knowing that Rachel someone who I barely know, knows like everything is...it's just scary" Amari finish sighing eyes watering, he's not normally an emotional person he actually hates emotions and hides his emotions. Honestly probably why him and Bruce got along so well to be honest. but with gar he feels different he feels comfortable I know he just met him literally earlier this morning but it's one thing about him that makes him feel safe I guess you could say.
"Hey" gar said softly wiping the stray tear Amari let escape away
"It's ok we all lose control, I legit lost control at star labs to. I turned into a gorilla and destroyed the whole lab"
"Really" Amari asked eyes wide which made gar chuckle a little "yeah"
"I can guarantee you that Rachel and Kory don't hate you we all lose control sometimes and it's ok and I know opening up is scary I promise you Rachel won't tell anybody anything Rachel is hella trustworthy like I told her when I was younger I use to eat mud and she hasn't" gar stopped himself mid sentence. Amari laughed "we're gonna pretend like I didn't just expose myself" they both laughed and from there on for the next two hours the two boys just chatted away talking about everything.
They both felt comfortable with each like they known each other there whole life. It scared Amari to be honest. Gar on the other hand he was happy .He was happy Amari was letting him in. It meant that he felt comfortable with him.And it's the same way around Amari was happy gar felt comfortable around him.
"It's been two hours I still can't believe you guys are taking pictures" gar said to Tim and Connor
"I'm trying to get the perfect one to send him" Tim told him as he continued posing
"The last 105 pictures were perfect" Rachel groaned rolling her eyes
"Here" Connor said handing Tim his phone "it's dead"
"What it was just at 80%" Tim exclaimed as he looked at his phone weird . The lights in the RV and all the technology starts to flicker on and off.
All of a sudden Connor was hunched over the table groaning as he had his hands covering both sides of his ears.
"Conner" everyone shouted and rushed to him. Dick quickly pulled over the car and he and Kory rushed to the back
"I know this might be a little extreme but how else was I supposed to reach you" Lex voice rang thru Connors ears.
"I wanna meet in person, come to lex corp tower tonight at 8pm, I expect to see you there"
"Connor" dick shouted shaking him, "someone's in his head" Amari said as his eyes glowed. He was in connors head he could hear the deep voice talking to Connor
"Who" Kory asked "I don't know a man" Amari shrugged "the man's voice mad deep sounds like pop smoke"
The lights and all the technology come back on in the RV and connor removes his hands from his ears and stops groaning.
Connor breaths heavy as the intense pain he felt slowly fades away. "Connor!" dick shouted "are you ok?"
Connor nodded slowly, he was still regaining his composure " what happened...who...was that talking to you " Kory asked
"We have to go back to metropolis"
"What" Kory shook her head in utter confusion

"All I'm saying is it's complicated" Kory said as she dick and Connor got out the RV to talk
"I mean not really he wants me to come to to lex Corp tower tonight at 8pm"
"We're talking about lex Luther here Connor he was the only man Batman was afraid of"
As the three kept taking outside it was inside that was still pretty shaken up
"We didn't even make it far enough before some shit happen" Tim groaned as he plopped down on the couch "I know" Rachel sighed "what do you think Connors gonna do"
"He's not gonna meet him right?" Gar asked "of course not I mean seriously we're talking about lex fucking Luther" Tim scoffed
"I mean..." Amari started as he sat down next to gar "that's still his dad at the end of the day" Amari shrugged
"He's right I mean if I had the chance to see one of my parents again I would" Rachel said,
Amari pointed his finger towards her in agreement
"But we're talking about lex Luther here" Tim exclaimed "I mean my dad's a demon and tried to kill us so" Rachel shrugged
"She has a point" gar said making Tim sighed
"Y'all they coming back in" Amari warned the teens as they were continuing the conversation about Connor's decision
Rachel gar and Tim shut upped before Kory dick and Connor got on "soooo" gar started as dick went to the drive seat of the RV
"Looks like we're going to metropolis" Kory sighed
