it's Only a Sprain

We arrived at the company and of course haeun Unnie helped to walk since I'm limping and it caught everyone's attention.

It was 7 pm already people are still awake I bet the others are still practicing.

I changed my clothes first then haeun Unnie and I went to the assistant of Lee Soo Man.

We entered his office.

Assistant: Omo, what happened?

Haeun: she sprained her left foot

Chaerin: I had a game this evening and I landed wrong

Assistant: does it hurt that bad?

Chaerin: kinda

Assistant: can you dance this evaluation? I heard you have a duo dance

Chaerin: I'll try but I know I can

Assistant: that's what I like, okay, if you feel that you can then you can, but if it feels bad don't be shy to go to the clinic

Chaerin: okay, thank you

Haeun Unnie then escorted me to the practice room where everyone was but I told her I'll wear some shoes on, because if I don't they'll worry.

Haeun: are you sure you want to wear some shoes

Chaerin: yeah, because if I don't they'll all be asking if I'm okay

I entered the practice room alone since I don't want them to question right away.

Johnny: Chaerin-ah! How's the game?

Chaerin: we won

Everyone congratulated me

Mark: congrats, Noona!

Haechan: Congrats, Noona

Chaerin: thank you

I tried my best not to limp, I went to doyoung Oppa to decide on what we'll sing for the duet

Chaerin: Doyoung Oppa

Doyoung: oh Chaerin-ah

Chaerin: have you decided what song we'll sing?

Doyoung: well I thought of " It's Fortunate " By Lee Juck sunbaenim

Chaerin: ah, yeah I know that song

Doyoung: so we'll do that?

Chaerin: yeah, sure

Doyoung: ok, let's decide on our parts first, how about you'll start here then I'll sing the next stanza

Doyoung Oppa and I talked on how we'll sing the song together as a duet.

When we finished talking about our parts we decided to go on a separate room so we can start on practicing, since it's quite noisy where we are right now.

Chaerin: ok, how about lets go to the other practice room so we can start, they have mics there as well

Doyoung: yeah, sure

When I stood up I stumble a bit making Doyoung Oppa asked if I'm okay

Doyoung: are you okay?

Chaerin: yeah, I'm okay

Just then johnny Oppa saw the black thingy on my ankle

Johnny: Chaerin-ah, what happened to your ankle?

Chaerin: it's nothing, Oppa

Johnny: what do you mean nothing, that's a ankle tape did you sprain it or something?

When johnny Oppa said that it caught everyone's attention, thank goodness Seulgi Unnie left the room before he said that, I'll just tell her when we go to bed

Chaerin: I sprained it during the last set earlier

Irene: why didn't you tell us?

Chaerin: it's okay, there's no need for worrying

Taeyong: there's  a dance duo next week, can you even move it?

Chaerin: I can move it, it's okay I'll still be able to dance next week for the evaluation

Jaehyun: it'll get worse if you force it--

Chaerin: it's okay, we'll get going now, we have to practice the duet, bye, I'm fine! I promise!

I told everyone since I know they'll keep asking about it, when we stepped out of the practice room of course I limped because it hurts, of course it's going to hurt I just injured it. Doyoung Oppa told me to just grab his arm if I need assistance, which is really thoughtful.

We arrived at the other studio and we set up the mics and the audio.

We practiced for a bit

Doyoung: Chaerin-ah, why don't you just make a low voice on this part while I try to harmonize with it

Chaerin: okay, okay, cool

We practiced more and more until we make it perfect, on our very last round of practice we decided to take a video of us singing to make sure we sound good, we used the iPad that the company provided for us.

We watched the video and both of us were happy with the results so we decided to end the practice.

Doyoung: nice job

We gave each other a high five

Chaerin: see you tomorrow, Oppa

Doyoung: see you too, bye

I decided to stay behind to practice my solo vocal evaluation, I decided to sing a Taylor swift song " Mine " I decided to play it with my guitar, Changmin Oppa gave it to me when I was 13.



This is the guitar that Changmin Oppa gave me. I put lots of stickers so that it can look more happy, Haha.

While I was practicing someone knocked at the door and when it opened it was Seulgi Unnie.

Seulgi: hiii

Chaerin: oh, Unnie

Seulgi: Congrats again

Chaerin: thank you, Unnie I have something to say

Seulgi: I already know, Irene Unnie told me, if you can't do it it's okay, I'll be fine

Chaerin: No, I promise I can do it, it's only a sprain

Seulgi: but it might get worse if you'll move it--

Chaerin: Unnie, I promise I can do it, I'm fine. Both of us worked so hard to choreograph this dance I don't want to let you down

Seulgi: your really strong, Chaerin-ah. You never give up do you?

Chaerin: I don't, haha

Both of us laughed and we did a little practice on our dance but Seulgi Unnie told me not to move my foot that much.

The doctor said I'll be okay after 4 months, the good thing is it's only a minor sprain so it will just recover in a short time. Thank God.
