this story is from my imagination as always A gurl named Shim Chaerin born in 1998 is the little sister of Shim changmin from TVXQ she was born in Georgia but she visited Korea when she was 6 to show support for her brothers debut.
Coach Maye- Trainees vocal coach and Chaerin's private vocal coach
Mama Rino- you might know her for being the choreographer of SHINee and Nct. She's also Chaerin's dance teacher when she was younger
Coach Jongmin- another dance coach of the trainees
Teacher Hani- the trainees language teacher
Haeun- she's the one who scouted Chaerin way back in 2004 and now she's the manager of the trainees.

It's 2014 already. I'm 16 and in 10th grade, I still go to Sopa until senior year. I'll be graduating this year, Mom and Dad promised me that they'll be coming here in Korea for my graduation.
< January 2014 >
In the middle of January the Company announced that they'll be debuting a New girl group Named Red Velvet.
They announced that Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy Unnie will be the official members for the New Girl group. I was having mix emotions since I thought I would also be part of the group, I even questioned myself why I wasn't part of the final lineup.
Maybe I wasn't good enough, I have to prove them that I am capable of debuting. Well, I know I'm still young but I'm one of the longest trainees that has been training, I became a trainee way back in 2006 when I was 8 years old and now I'm 16 already it's been 9 years.
But I'm still proud of my Unnie's all of us suffered together during those evaluations.

Chaerin: Congratulations! Unnie's!
Irene: Chae-Chae!
Seulgi: omo, Chaerin-ah!
Chaerin: the company just announced it to us
Joy: we still can't believe it
Chaerin: I'll be rooting for you guys
Wendy: and we'll be waiting for you too, Chaerinie
I've heard that line from Sulli Unnie when they debut. I wonder what would she say if she knew that I'm not part of the final line up for the New Group.
Chaerin: I'll try my best and I'll work harder, I promise
They all hugged me real tight, I teared up a bit but good thing I held it back.
For the upcoming months the 4 of them are going to be so busy for their debut. I'm sad that Seulgi Unnie won't be my roommate anymore, I'll be alone again.

{ After a week }
It's been a week since 2014 started being in 10th grade is much harder than I thought.
My schedule is pretty much what I did for the past 9 years of staying in the company. I'm still in the volleyball team, waking up really early in the morning then practicing for a bit then head out to school, after my classes I head off to the court and train for 4 hours then go back to the company, before I head off to practice I would change my clothes then eat something and I'll do a couple of homeworks while I can.
Then I head off to the practice and I would stay there for like let's say 6 hours?, Sometimes I start practicing at 8 pm then it would end at 12 am or 1 but sometimes if there's an important evaluation I would stay there until 3 am.

• New Trainees •
2 New trainees entered the company again. I'm shocked that they were only 2 of them I was expecting more.
Jungwoo is the same age as me, finally someone who can be my friend. Ever since I entered the company I'm the only '98 liner. Sungchan is 13 but he's really tall than I expected for a 13 year old.
